If you can get eating drinking lots asap.. and get lo latch on as often as possible to trick your body into thinking it needs to make more milk!! Im sure its just  because you have been unwell and it will fix it self.

Hi ladies, I'm hoping someone can either help or put my mind at rest...  I was really sick over the weekend with sickness and diarrhoea, and I'm concerned my milk has been effected (I wanted to post at the weekend but couldn't move!).  DS is 7 months, on Saturday he didn't really want to nurse, but yesterday wanted more since he was also sick so not on solids during the day.  However, my let-down seems to take forever, which is really frustrating for him, and when it does come it's nowhere near as strong as it was.  I haven't been able to eat for the past two days, and have been drinking as much as possible, although unable to hold much on Saturday.  Is this the beginning of the end?   Neither of us are ready for it to be yet.  Thanks for any comments/advice!
