I started lo with the potty training when she was 19 months.. i just picked a dya and sad we're abig grl now lets have a we we on the potty... sat her on there every 20 mins and asked if sh eneded a we we.. then praised her by singing n clapping if she did. We used pull ups for going out for the first week but after that went cold tureky .. now 20 months l is all but dry in the day.. we have had a little relaps the last few days but lo has been ill so only to be expected but she picked it up so quick and even runs to the loo now instead of the potty.. encourage her to go... when you go to the lo ask if she needs to go and sit her on the potty / toielt with you etc.. make it fun and she'll be ready in no time....

It took me about a week all in all and by the end of the week lo knew when she was going/ needed to go.. as i said about 5 weeks on weeks on we're all but there... good luck

don't worry you are ahead of the game really - let DD play with potty - sit on it fully clothed - watch you in the loo - and show her with dolls what happens.  The progress - like in 4-6 months - so letting her try it out naked at certain times of the day - encourage sitting on it by reading and watching tv and highly praise any "productions!"

I bought the potty's for 18month old dd... now what do i do... this is the one thing that ive lost sleep over... weaning i found easy, getting her to sleep the night thru has been a doddle... however this pottytraining is scaring the wits out of me...

HELP!!
