you potty training dh ?? lol

really though, how old is your ds? I found that my ds decided when he was going to tell me he wanted to go. We left potty in room so he could go when he wanted without the need to ask etc and he had one upstairs as sometimes he decided he wanted to go up there. I still ask ds now and hes been trained since May but always worth checking. When you ask him to go do you 'ask him to go' or 'ask if he wants to go'. I think asking if he wants to go would be more effective as he is making choice.
