Not had a day like yours yet, but I would stick to your guns and keep going. I have to ask my lo (2yrs 11m) to sit on the potty and sometimes she refuses even when I know she needs to go. So she gets told to sit and then produces something and is very pleased with herself. Once he learns you mean business then he won't argue. Good luck...

Hiya
I started potty training my little boy (2 years 9 months) about a week ago and apart from a few little accidents he's done really well. Today we've had an awful day though, and he has refused to go on his potty - I've asked him to go for me and he says no, and then 1 minute later he's standing in a puddle of wee. I know that he knows when he needs a wee as he's been doing it by himself all week......I feel like he's doing it on purpose and I can't help but feel cross and frustrated.
He also cries when I take his nappy off after his afternoon nap and has a tantrum.
I feel like we've taken a massive step backwards....
Anyone else had days like this???

Thanks for the reply. I do know I need to carry on....just had one of those days when you think, what's the point??!! Have your flamin nappy back!
I have chilled out a bit and will have all guns blazing tomorrow. And have bought in supplies of chocolate buttons....he seemed to be doing much better when I was bribing him lol
Here's to a better day tomorrow!
