When you have tryed in the past has he had pull-ups or a nappy on between potty use. If so i would say get rid of pull-ups and nappy and put him in pants (in the day, put nappy on at night). When he goes potty big praise, claps etc. I personally wouldn't go for the sticker or sweets rewards they may end up going potty for wrong reason and lose focus as to why they're going potty. Also they may become obsessed with potty just to get reward. Hope that helpful. Don't worry.

My son has recently turned 3 and I have just tried my third unsuccessful attempt to potty train him.  He is always keen to use the potty at first, but after a couple of days seems to get bored with the whole thing and refuses to cooperate.

I don't mind waiting if he is not ready, but the problem is that he keeps taking his nappy off and if I don't catch him in time will play with his poo.  Very unpleasant for me!

I have an 11 month old girl who he is jealous of and I am a little concerned that some of these problems could be attention seeking.  Does anyone have any ideas?
