I find it really hard to stay upbeat when you are dealing with wet floors and dirty pants! I have had three accidents today and each one just makes me feel we are not getting anywhere. This is day four and she is great if I ask her to sit on potty every hour but she can't tell when she's about to wee etc.
Just seems like everyone else potty trains in two days at 12 months!! (dd 28 mths)

my daughter is 4 in november and im still having problems with her toilet training ...she soils her pants nearly every day and doesnt seem to know shes doing it ...(only happens at home fine at nursery 2 1/2 hrs )
she used to wet herself frequently evry day as well but this is getting better ....
mentioned it last year to the HV who came and saw her at home asked me to fill out charts gave me leaflet s...told me not to get upset / angry/ make an issue of it just to clean it up and pretend it s ok ...she also says to take child to the toilet every hour especially after meals .
with her it didnt get that much better ...recently saw a pedatrition (sp) who said their was nothing phsically wrong and will get there in the end see her again in 3 months ...just keep encourageing / praising the child
she also asked ME if i had a problem with her doing it ..thats why i seeked help / advice thought at this age they would have had an idea of they were wet or dirty ..it doesnt bother my daughter
my other daughter was trained day and night by two but i know all kids are different and will judt have to perservere with my 2nd dd they say they dont class it as a problem till the childs 5 ...rediculous ..
