Ds is 25 months and showing signs his ready. He will wee in the potty or big toilet when he has no nappy on, no problem. Tried him with pants and asked him to let me know when he needed to go and checked every few minutes (probably got fed up with me asking him if he needed a wee wee lol!) but he still wet himself. Made no big deal of it.
I have all next week off work and thought I would give potty training a serious effort at last, so what do I do next? Leave him without pants for a day or so then move onto pants or go straight for the pants.
Don't know why but I am not looking forward to this, it's the poo's I'm worried about, he hasn't done one so far in the potty.
Advise would be welcome.

Hi.My daughter is the same age and we started potty training her properly last monday. We left her nappy off for a couple of hours and put her potty in the middle of the floor and she did her wee when she needed to without any kind of prompt from us. We put her in pull ups on friday and she seems to be going well. She knows when she wants to go and pulls her big girl knickers off.[thats her name for pull ups]. Its quite daunting when they're just starting but they soon get the hang of it.He will have cracked it by the end of next week.Just have plenty of disinfectant handy!good luck
