My DD is 21 months and has been 99% dry during the day for a couple of months now.  I have invested in a complete waterproof bedding set and next week we are going to make the leap and not buy another packet of pull ups so that means she'll not have one on at bedtime!  Her pull ups normally have been wee'd in by the morning but I'm sure it just because she knows that they are made for wee'ing in so she doesn't bother telling me.  I can leave her bare, put her in to our bed and she won't wee so we're going to give it a go.  What the worst that can happen?  I can have to wash her bedding everyday, oh well the washer is on everyday anyways!!

Well TBH my dd was like this well her nappies were wet during the night then one night i took the bull by the horns and decided to try her without (we have all waterproof bedding stuff on anyway).  I make sure she goes on the toilet before she goes to bed then before i go to bed roughly around 10pm i lift her on to the toilet whilst she is half asleep and she does a wee then and she is dry until the morning.  been dry during the night for the last month or so and she is 3 hth x

Yes, i'd say not ready. My ds was a late trainer and is only now (he's 4) having the odd dry night, which apparently isn't unusual. I think you'll have to convince your lo to wear them again, maybe get pullups and tell your lo they're bedtime pants or something like that.

awww yes think maybe he not ready yet. My dd is 2 /2 and been out of nappies in day time for ages! but sill has night time pull ups. Ive left her with out a pullup a couple of times but only once she has gone through all night with out wetting. i put her potty in the bedroom and tell her its there if she needs a wee wee during the night. but so far she hasnt had one in her potty during the night time. sometimes her pull up can be dry but other times can be wet. I just dont think she ready yet! going to leave it a while longer then maybe i might try the reward chart. HTH xx

DS has been day time dry since 20 months and was 3 on Saturday.  Now have a DD (13 wks) and DS thinks that nappies are for babies.  He has been taking his nappy of at night or refusing to wear it, but always wee'd thru the night.

Anyway last week decided to try again, limited drink throughout the day and then almost none from 6pm.  Wee and then to bed at 8pm.

First night great asked for wee at 5am

Second night shouted at 11pm, but then wet bed at 5.30.

Third night repeat of night before.

Fourth night went all night until he shouted at 6.15am.

Fifth night shouted 4 wee at 10pm and then when got him in morning bed was wet, and he was sleeping in it.

Sixth night when got him in morning bed was wet again, but fast asleep none the wiser.

Making a big deal of dry nights with sticker rewards and bribe of a toy with 5 stickers.

Can I conclude from this that he is just not ready.  Think that as sometimes he doesn't know he is doing it maybe doesn't have the right sensations.  Should I persvere or give up and try again in a month.  Any advice would be much appreciated.
