hiya, I've been making up a lot of meals this week for my 5.5moth twins and freezing them because I will not pay the price of the jars x 2.

I have made a chicken and leek casserole.........put chopped chicken breast, leek, potato and carrot into a pan with 300mls of forumal milk and bring to the boil, once boiled simmer until pots are soft and chicken is cooked. Then wizz togther still in the liquid until the right consistancy. It smells lovely and both mine wolfed it down.

In a pan of 300mls of formula milk add some cod, potatoes and frozen peas bring to the boil then simmer until pots are soft and cod is cooked then wizz together still in the milk. Another favourite.

cook different veg eg carrot, parsnip, swede etc in 300mls of milk then wizz together still in liquid.

Fromage frais counts as 2ozs of milk I believe.

Try your local libuary for books or lookon the web for weaning advise, I think the cow & gate web site has reciepe ideas.

Hope that helps and good luck x
