    I agree with pp, other than nuts and perhaps shellfish they can have pretty much anything.  I would really recommend you get hold of Annabel Karmels complete baby and toddler meal planner - its my bible! x

    they still advise off egg white till 9 months...altho thoroughly cooked full egg scrambled is fine, nuts till one...unless any family allergies then nuts are 5, VERY mild spice can be tried (lol...as if the pooey nappies are bad enough...dont think any of us want to deal with a curry bum)...but again they still say to try waiting till nearer 9 months...honey is also a big no-no till one (some can have a botulism causing thing in them) and other than making sure all meat etc is thouroughly cooked and not too much tuna/swordfish due to mercury i think thats basically it

    from 6 months you can use cows milk in cooking...but stick to formula or breast milk till 1 yr old

    is it true that babies at 6months can eat practically anything??? 

    im a 2nd time mummy but with dd1 i used jars but i dont wanna use them this time round and i was looking forward to dd2 having what we are having for dinner, but the suff i buy dosnt have an ag guid ion it!!!!!!!   not there yet, 15 days to go, but am getting prepared...
