Hippabisc is just like weetabix but without the sugar and salt. You can add banana or any mushy fruit to it to sweeten it up a bit. Babies love it.

my lo is 14 months old and for breakfat since weaning he has had either weetabix or ready brek, you can start making both of them with the formula milk and then switch to cows milk which is a lot easier from 1yr old!

What about a bit of toast and unsalted butter?  My daughter loves the Warburton’s milk roll with lashings of unsalted butter on it, cut into fours.  Yummy!

My lo is nearly 10 months and she loves shreddies with banana!  Also has rice krispies multigrain shapes.

P.S Forgot used to give my son cheerio's (long time ago that he was small!) used to love them (now likes crunchy nuts!) and could give them dry if I did not have time for mess!

What about ready brek? (the asda own brand is the same as ready brek) But half a weetabix works great if lo is over 6months (too much fibre to have a whole one) I add fruit or raisins (banana can be hard to digest along with weetabix). Done some interesting combo's and shapes in your house to make it interesting!

I used to us ethe Cow & Gate cereals but they are such a rip off in my opinion! I have twins and 1 box would only do 2 days breakfast and at over £2 i thought it was mad, so i've now started them on Weetabix, just crumble it up add formula and heat in microwave for 20secs and mush it all up, i then add a bit more milk so its the right consistency, either formula or cows milk. They LOVE it, they are 8.5months and have 1 whole weetabix each!! Also use ready brek which they seem to like as well.

my ds2 (9 1/2 mths) has either hippabisc or ready brek, with fruit puree mixed in, and a bit of toast (probably about a third of a slice of bread).
