You could put philladelphia in the broccoli and mix it up would give a nice creamy consistency or just grate some strong cheddar and sprinkle that it yum!!!!!  I really missed the nice strong smelly cheeses when I was pregnant and now i'm at weight watchers and not allowed to eat the stuff now either ha ha

Obvious, but just make sure it is pasterised as some parmasan's are'nt (especially the more expensive one's!). Defo no blue vein cheese though when pregnant!

you can get white stilton...dosnt have the veining in it so would probably be okay...it dosnt have quite the same pungent taste (i'm saying pungent to be kind to it...i REALLY dont like blue stilton lol)

blue veined cheeses like stilton and gorgonzola are a no no in pregnancy. dont know how well it would work but if you want a strong flavour you could try parmesan.xxx

    I have a questionKateMama

As part of my decision to eat more healthy during this pregnancy (rather than gorging on pizza and chocolate like I did last time) I wanted to make a soup that I love using brocolli and stilton but obviously need an alternative to the stilton.  Any chefs out there have any idea what other cheese would work (that us preggers are allowed to eat)!!!!!!!!!!
