Hi, I have got loads of kids healthy eating books and all the flapjack recipes have sugar/fat in them of some description - at the end of the day, it's a better snack that chocolate?!!  But here's a good one anyway...

Melt 4oz butter, add 2oz soft light brown sugar and 3 tbsp of runny honey and stir until disolved.  Mix in 8oz rolled oats.  Press into medium sized greased baking tray, bake for 20-30 mins at Gas 5/180.

that would be ok for an 18 month old.  The one I ahve has loads of buetter and syrup.  I was wondering if anyone has something a bit healthier?
