Thanks for all your replies.  Going on 11th of September as agree with a previous post, it is alot cheaper than first week in September.  That temprature sounds nice in the day 25 -30, so will take a few cardigans for if it is cool at night.  Thanks again

We are going to Menorca on the 6th September and I think the the climate will be the same as Majorca.  I am hoping its not going to be too hot but still hot enough to get a tan!  I had a look at wunderground weather for the past history of the weather for last year and between the 6th and the 21st September 2007 it ranged from 25 to 30 so that is plenty hot for us, maybe a tad too hot!  Heres hoping the weather will be similar this year!  Can't wait to go.

we go to majorca every september mainly because of the cooler weather...its still warm enough to get a good tan but its not  steaming hot like it is in july/aug....its usually a bit cooler in the evening so take a thin jacket/cardigan.....saying that some nights are still warm where you dont need a jacket....have fun!...x

I am going to Majorca in September also, but I am going on the 13th as it was about £40 cheaper each than going the week before on the 6th.

I am hoping it will be cooler in the evenings, and not red hot in the day but I do want to be able to get in my bikini and have a sunbathe - god I hope it will be warm enough!

The brochure guide said its normally about 25 degrees which is plenty warm enough for lo.  I will take some cardi's and cut off pants / linen trousers for night times I think.

I went the first week in october a few years ago and it was cool in the mornings and could be quite cold in the evenings. The earlier in september you go the better it will be.

It will probably be sunny during the day but not as warm as July/Aug, especially if you get some cloud. Will cool down quite a bit in the evening.

I'd stick with the summer clothes but take a few jumpers/cardi etc

Hi has anybody been to Majorca in September?? If so what is the weather like? Going with my lo who will be 11 months and have bought summer clothes but somebody said that it can be a bit cold in September.  Anybody been at this time of year and there comments would be usefull.
