My parents are flying with BA on October 3rd - £360 each return.

We're taking Immie in Dec, and paying £462 each.

We fly into Tampa, as we prefer that airport.

Hiya - we booked our about 5 weeks ago direct through virgin. I would say away fromtravelcity direct and try to use the airline websites instead or company travel sites.

here is no cheap flights anymore although my mum and dad took my 2 kids in may and only paid £199 per flight and that was including taxes so they are still out there but very rare.

If your booking in advance then sometimes this is the best option if you want to fly on a shecdual flight.

If you want to go charter then you are best not leaving it  "too last minute" as they put all there fairs up for business flights.

We go on 26th aug with virgin, the flight is direct and it cost £1,500 for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant booked 7 weeks before, if you book now its £2,500 so its gone up quite a bit.

hiya, we go to florida 4 or 5 times a year cos we have a place out there, and have to agree with previous poster, cheap flights are are a thing of the past, we usually book with airline network, US airways and bmi usually have some pretty good prices, but we never go charter so dont know about travel city, thomas cook ect,

Hiya Hun, we just booked ours through www.cheapflights.co.uk of you can try www.travelsupermarket.com as these compare all different agents. The only thing I will say is there is no such thing as 'cheap flights' anymore. When we first went to Florida in 2006 me and hubby paid £288 each, for a 7 night holiday. We just booked for 4th September and paid £959 just for the flights for us and dd. The fuel duty has really bumped them up

Another good tip is to wait until about 3 weeks before for the best deals. Hope this helps

hi, dont know if they are cheaper now but i used to travel to florida alot and always flew with 'travel city direct'...i found them very good on prices and service too.

they only fly into sanford orlando, rather than orlando international, which is great as sanford is quite a small airport so not too busy, less waiting around and much less hassle but still close to the resorts.
