weve been a few times - loved santa ponsa , found puerta pollensa too quiet.i always look at holiday truths and holidays uncovered to see what comments people have on the hotels.

I'm going to Majorca in a week on Sunday.  Can't wait!  My parents are out there for a month and we are going for a few days to visit.  We're going to Magaluf, been going there since I was about 10 and love the place, it's not all lager louts, would do anything to be able to move out there.

we go to cala d'ore and its great not far from the airport about an hours drive.lovely beach for the children but a bit of a walk back up the slope.  lovely little land train to go on.we stay at the hotel toucan. they dont have a kids club or anything like that but they do have a lovely small pool just for the little ones, high chairs in the dinneing room, and lovely cots in the bedrooms. the hotel needs a little upgradeing but its still in nice condition.

hi we went to majorca last year and stayed in peurto pollensa, it was really nice, we stayed in hotel playa mar which is a top thompson kids hotel, great swimming pool area and entertainment everynight in hotel starting off with the kids disco.

just round the back there is a walk down to town called the 'pinewalk' i belive which is lovely and there is a square down the end with loads of restaurants. and a beach all the way along the walk which is great for children. the water was crystal clear.

    Hi

Majorca itself is great for familes, I haven't been for a while but I hear Puerto Pollensa is nice, also Cala Dor, and Alcudia is a firm favourite. I am going to Sa Coma to the Bourganvilla Park in 5 weeks so I'll let you know how it goes! its about a mile away from the beach but there's a free mini train that takes you to the beach and back all day.   I liked that idea because I didn't want all the party goers trapsing back at 3.00am and waking us up! plus there's loads of entertainment at night and a few different places to eat on the complex to save trawling around each night.  The pool is the biggest on the island as well. I also hear the Jupiter and saturn complex in Alcudia is good.
