    stilton mushroom toasts.

slice your mushroons and fry off. add your peppercorn sauce and warm through. add chunks off the stilton and melt into the sauce. spoon onto your toasts (seeded loaf is best as nice and chunky). alternatively you could put the mixture in small pots/ bowls, top with the cheese and melt in microwave. serve your toasts on the side and dunk!!!

ery yummy and easy to do...ideal for entertaining.

What's your favourite?  I love mushrooms and have converted dh to them - after cooking them for years he then told me he never really used to like them but does now!  Last night we had:

    Mushroom Rarebit

Mix grated cheese, an egg, some milk, mustard, pepper and worcester sauce in a bowl until its a not too sloppy but wet mix.  Spoon over de-stalked mushrooms in a oven proof dish and then grate more cheese over the top of them.  Bake for about 15mins, served with wedges and peas.
