I make corned beef hash by dicing up some potatoes and part boil them, then while they are boiling i dice up an onion and the corned beef.  I fry the onion in oil and worcestershire sauce until it is soft and then you add the corned beef and potatoes and stir together - if you put the corned beef in the fridge in will not turn to mush when you add it to the pan (i make mine in the wok).  Once you have heated the corned beef through i stir in some bbq sauce (or quite a lot it depends on how you want it - dh likes lots of it) and serve it with warm crusty bread and baked eans - it is soo yummy when it is a cold miserable day and really doesn't take long to cook once the potatoes have been boiled :-)

the only time i had what i was told was "corned beef hash" and all that was was corned beef and potatoes mashed together - but surely its not as easy as that??

I've never made it before but liked it as a child, does anyone know how to make it? I'm sure it's pretty simple.
