try double choc chip cookies for the base of the mint aero cheesecake - delicious!
Think mine is 8", loose bottomed non-stick one.
BUMP THIS IS SOOOOO YUMMY
hi ladies i make thi all the time i use
lemon curd for lemon cheese cake
raspberrys which i boil up 1st with some sugar to make a coolie (sp)
aero mint bars
toblerone bars
also use any flavour angel delight packets
my kids will eat any flavour but lemon is my favorite
i always melt my butter then add to biscuits then chill why i am making the topping as this works better i found xx
philli
Either Tesco's full fat soft cheese or if I'm feeling posh, mascarpone.
what soft cheese does everyone use? x
i make this all the time as dp loves it, i also swop the chocolate orange for white choc and raspberries sometimes too. i use butter straight from the fridge and mix the biscuits in with my fingers. i then leave it chilling for an hour before making the filling
Probably need more butter....I had a disaster once and now completely drench my biscuits in butter and chill before I add the topping so it doesn't absorb the liquid too much.
made it at the weekend, tasted lovely, though my base didn't set so am i right in thinking i've either used too many biscuits or not enough butter?

what size tin do you use and where can I get one?
I made this for friends at the weekend and it went down a treat! Thank you for making me look good

I think i'll be making this over Xmas - chocolate and orange are sooo Christmassy! I made DP an angel sponge cheesecake for his birthday last week which was so light and refreshing! xxx
