    Hi,

my lo been on this for afew weeks and is a different baby. She sufferred with reflux and I was breastfeeding and giving her gaviscon. I then got flu and my supply all but dried up so I put her on SMA gold with the gaviscon. This caused really bad constipation and my health visitor recommended C&G comfort or Aptimil easy digest. She said they are both the same. They are both thicker to keep the feed down and are both much gentler on their tummy. You do need to use the next size up teat as it is quite a bit thicker so the teats get blocked otherwise ending up in baby sucking in air and not happy. I make up all my bottles with just the water and then add the powder at feeding time so it's fresh and you don't have to warm it up from the fridge.

If it is made following the instructions it is a lot lot thicker than normal cow and gate.  I've found it to be a very good milk and dd settled on it really well.  She's been on it since she was 6 weeks old and she's now nearly 29 weeks.  She no longer really needs the comfort milk and i am considering swapping her over to a normal follow on milk but don't really want to rock the boat!!

I have started to use C&G comfort but i dont think it looks any thicker.  I make it up with boiling water then cool with cold water.  I dont always have time to let the kettle cool 15 mins.  How does everyone else make it up and does it look much thicker than C&G 1.  Callum is 5 weeks and is on this for 48 hours, i dont know if it has worked yet as he is still unsettled.  how long does it take to work?
