hi wonder does anyone know what happens if you make up a feed and leave until it gets to room temp is it bad to use it?

I used to do that, but reccomendations now state to cool the feed asap in a jug of cold water or bowl etc, then place it in the fridge.
It's because the bacteria breeds reall REALLY well at room temp. And the formula is not sterile when it's added.
I never cooled it with my son or daughter, but I used to sterilise 4 bottles, dog them up and when lo was coming up for a feed I would pop the kettle on, cool the water a little then add the formula. My 2 have always been fine. Well my son was very sicky but he was bf at first.
My daughter is 1 next week and never suffoured more than a cold. (TOUCH WOOD)
When I went out I would do the same but leave the warm water in 2 bottles and keep them in a thermal bottle bag add the powder form a milk container.
I think it is down to weather you want to do things but the book, or be a bit less strict, but understand if lo does get ill, that may be a reason. Like I said, never did anything to mine.
