I just bought tommee tippee powder despensers to fit their bottles, only £2.98 in tesco for six and can be reused so they not that dear.
I bought a supply of cartons and they are just as awkward as my lo only takes 3oz and then your left with an open carton to lug around if out an about.
I worked out that a carton feed on C&G formula is roughly 25p per 100ml where as the powder is 10p per 100ml, big big difference really.

Also tescos do there own version which is half the price of Avents. I have both as using one for nursery.

Hi there they are great, basically its a container with three separate compartments. You fill each compartment with the required about of powder and when baby is ready to feed you just pour this into they bottle of water.
I found this great as if you take out bottles with made up milk in them it only last four hours and keeping it separate will keep for longer. Buying ready made cartons will work out more expensive in the long run to.
You can buy them from boots mothercare etc, i've brought this time round boots own brand which looks just as good.
Hope that helps

Hi, if i go out i tend to make a bottle literally before i leave the house and put in a thermal holder. If you are going to be in a cafe or resturant when it's feed time they can give you water to warm or pop in microwave.

what r these avent dispensers people talk about as it is so expensive to buy readymade milk al the time when going out.
I have been just using a flask to keep the water warm and getting by with that -but dont know if that is he right thing to do
