Do you not want to go to a mother and baby group or are you just nervous? I don't really know about any, and I'm worried I'd be the youngest and feel really out of place!
How long have you lived in torbay btw?

I was at Girls Grammar for gcse, then Cuthbert Mayne for 6th form. My niece is at Paignton though.

There seem to be loads of baby groups, I just can't get up the courage to face a whole load of strangers! Wow, i can't imagine James being one, it seems so far away!!!

Hi.
I'm 18 and have a three month old son, but everytime I go to the health visitor or baby groups, I seem to be the only one of my age. Although the older mums are nice, I find that I have nothing in common with them. I'd really like some mummy friends in the area, as I do find it difficult to relate to my old friends.
I'd really like to hear from anyone else who feels the same way, especially young mums who want to blast the stereotype. I might be young, but I start university in october and plan to have a great career!!!!
Where did everybody go?????
