Omg, Dont even get me started on funny looks lol,
some people can be so nasty!!
Me And My Friend Went To Get On A Bus And These Two Women Id Say Atleast In Their Late 50's Were Infront Of Us And BLATENLY Heard Us Say Ohlook There Is Space To Put Pushchair There! Then The Cheek Of Them Went And Sat In The Space We Was Going To Put The Pushchair! If I Hadnt Of Been With My Friend There Wouldn Have Been Noway She Would Have Been Able To Get On The Bus That Day!
CHEEK!!
And Also One Day She Was Going Home By Train Goto The station extra early so she could get the buggy on etc but ofcourse everyone pushed infront of her so there was no room! the conductor said she would have to wait another 2hrs for the next train! with a 6month old baby and NO bottles! Makes Me Sick! And Really Angry! Just Because We Look Like Were About 16! Lol
at one point i was too ashamed to show my bump off because i got so many dirty looks!
but now i couldnt care! lol at the end of the day people can think whatever they like about me i know im going to be a good mum and im not as young as i look and thats all that matters

(Sorry For The Essay!)

i took my daughter to the baby clinic to be weighed today, it was my first time there as she is only 16 days old and hv and mw's came to house before. i took a seat in the waiting room which was quite full and i felt like i was in a goldfish bowl. i looked around and everyone was staring at me like i was a piece of crap. i wasnt being paranoid either, i know a disapproving look when i see one. so i ended up just shrinking into my chair and praying that she didnt start crying. so annoyed as i shouldnt be made to feel that way, im used to it from when i was pregnant but it was my first time out alone with her and i felt really upset by it. im 21 years old, i have been with my partner since i was 17, we are engaged and pay our bills and taxes. but why should i even justify it, what difference does it make if i was none of those things, theres nothing wrong with being young and having a baby, and single mothers shouldnt be looked down on. it just really made me mad. when i was pregnant i didnt bother so much, people were rude to me and made comments etc which was really nasty but now shes here its just out of order.

im 20 and have 2 ds 2yrs and 10weeks ppl look at me funny all the time, on the bus in shops and even more so in the bank or cashpoint they look as if to say, shes had kids just for the money you get and all the rest, but they couldnt be more wrong i dont get milk vouchers even tho they would be a big help lol, and my poor df works 50+ hours a week xxx too many ppl just assume things without knowing the facts, also some ppl seam to think because your young you cant look after kids as well as someone older could- does anyone else find that???

I don't think I look exceptionally young for my age and I haven't really noticed any looks or anything but the other day I had a comment which really riled me!
I've been with my partner for 6 years now (I'm 21 dp's 22), we have a 3 year old son & we're also expecting our second child in just over a month (a girl). Last week while we were on holiday I was filling my car with petrol while dp and ds waited in the car, when I went to pay one of the women who worked there said "Aw what a lovely bump, is this your first?" when I said no she said: "really? You don't look old enough!"
WHY ASK?? If she'd already made the assumption then why ask me the question just to give that response?? THAT really got on my nerves!
Should have reported her to the manager! -

hazel...i would have made a complaint or told them to forget it!! either that or asked her straight out what exactly her problem was! imagine saying obviously not about you having dependants!! unbelievable..

i get a few look. maybe cuz of ds or maybe cuz of my bright pink hair and piercings lol. the thing i find funny is when people make assumptions. i was in the bank the other day opening a new account and the woman was reading out questions and she was like "do u have an dependants... well no obviously not" and i was like "actually i have a son. then she was like " are u living with parents or partner?" and i said my husband and she gave me an even funnier look. lol. im 20 btw

Does any1 else look younger than they are? Everytime I go out with my little man every1 looks at me as if im 12 and not old enough 2 have a baby! lol im 24. It makes me laugh

I felt like I was being stared at all the time at first but I think as time goes on you either get used to it or rise above it! I always say the same thing when it comes to things like this, if someone has an issue with you then thats their problem not yours! If they want to waste their time staring at you let them, don't sink into yourself ashamed, be proud and smile back! Only YOU know you are a good mum and you don't have to prove that to anyone except your LOs!
Also sometimes when you have a new baby people will just want to look anyway and it has nothing to do with your age!
Am I the only one who has actually found that its my peers that do more of the dirty looks rather than any other age group! I've taken her to the uni library a few times and that is when I feel at my worst with dodgey looks.
Keep smiling girls! x
