I'd personally choose my mum!

I have no idea what your dp is like as a partner, but I'd still say mum!

They are more sympathetic, and not likely to moan if you ask them to get something for you, unlike men do!!! Plus, if you live with your mum and ds anyway, would it not be better to keep your son in his normal surroundings instead of changing it for a while?

Just explain to your dp that the offer is great, but you'd rather try and keep things the same for the sake of your ds, and if he does want to help, he can come to your mums and relieve her for a while?

I live at home with my mum and ds dad lives with his parents too.  Just a qick question really, who do you put 1st??

Im going into hospital to have an operation on friday and both my bf and my mum want me to recover with them, i dont know who to choose!!
