Try a little bit of vaseline as my son had a rash not that long ago and its done the trick :D

The only person that can really answer that is your gp, thebest thing to do is follow your gp's advice, you dont want to make it worse by putting something on it that it doesnt need
If its not bothering your baby i would just leave it as your gp said

my 4 month old ds has got milk rash n i dnt knw wht to put on his rash... the gp said it will go away by itself but i think itz getting worse... wht can i use?
