hi girls! I spoke at the start but been a busy bee so not had a chance to get on! How is everyone?? I really dont know any women who tells the complete truth about how much they spend to their partners, we're all the same! haha. Im nearly completely honest but i just keep my mans bank card and look after all the money, he just leaves me to it cause he knows im sensible when it comes to money (most of the time) hehe x

Hi all.
I feel like a right dingbat this morning. I checked the forecast, it said to expect sunshine. So I got the boys into their trunks and went off to the local outdoor pool. When I got there it was freezing and all the other kids in the park were wearing coats and trousers. My poor children, I'm such a bad Mum!!!
Needless to say we didn't stay very long!Just dropped ds1 to pre-school and put ds2 down for a nap. The next few hours are mine!
Xx

Hey ladies, I'm still around.
VKnight-((HUGS)) for your DS, and for you. My DH doesn't know our internet banking code either, I don't think I could hide it from him though LOL
Michelle-LOL @ not telling your DH how much you spent.
Katryn-We have a 30year old on "Lovely ladies" so don't see why you can't join.
Hope everyone is okay, and having a good weekend. xx

28/6/08 20:23
Hope all is well with your 2 little angels Xxx
28/6/08 20:22
Aww thanks hun. Seems to be just us left on this thread now - lol!!
I think I was in shock y'day or something as I just didn't even think of there being anything wrong with him to warrant an operation. But it'll be the best thing for him, I can see that.
PMSL about not telling your dh how much you spent. I do that all the time. Dh doesn't know our internet banking code so always gets me to check our balances. He keeps telling me to write it down somewhere for him but I keep 'forgetting'!!
He'd have a fit if he saw how much I spent in town last wk!! All bits for the boys - but even so £90 was a bit ott. Can't even remember what I actually bought!! Lol!27/6/08 21:19
Hi Hun,
Oh no, thats not good, big (((hugs))) to you (and james!) Dont know how i would feel is one of my girl needed a op. Im sure he will be fine
Ive had a bit of a lazy day today, didnt get dressed until 10am Went to Mothercare and ended up spending £65,havent told dh yet!! I did get them some books, i know they dont understand what im saying but they seem to smile when im reading to them!!
Im looking foward to the weekend as dh will be here to help with the girls!
Anyway i best go as Big Brother has started (i know its sad, but i cant help watching it!)
Hope everyone else is ok,
Michelle xx

That's ok Michelle, glad I could help!
Well I've just got back from taking my 3yr old James to his appt at the hospital. They wanted to give him an assessment as his speech is quite behind and his speech therapist was concerned about how nasal he sounds. The specialist we saw told me that his muscles over his pallette haven't formed properly and he will need an operation to correct them
I don't know how to feel now. I'm relieved in a way that they finally know why he talks like he does but I feel so sorry for him that he'll have to go through this. It should be a 2-3 month wait.Anyway, that's my day so far. Hope everyone else is having a better day than us!!
