it's not stupied, so don't feel silly.
if it where me, i would just take him back of her.........whats she going to do? start a scene and risk her son seeing what she's like?
stand your ground hun, your the mum... not her.

over something so stupid...i dnt like my mil because she keeps s***ing my ds out of my hands n then she gives me a dirty look , she doesnt do that when my dp is with me... im fed up with her behavior n really wanna tell her to back off but i dont say anything cz i respect them n im so easy going with them they take advantage over my kindness.... i feel like my child is getting taken away from me....
i told my partner n he sed that he will talk to her but she wouldnt change cz she says that she has a right on my ds cz shes the grand mother
what can i do??????????????????????????????????????

To be honest hun, you are in the right. i agree with the post below, it's your child so you should say what goes. Even if it means not letting her see your child - she doesn't have any rights over the child. Your child obviously has two loving parents who love him so why should he need a second mum? because that is what it seems like she is trying to be - his mum...i would be very causious about her and tell her nicely that you are his mum and know what is best for your baby and she should deal with it...she may not even realise she is doing it...or does she? Hopefully this may of helped...sorry if it hasn't...i would get very Peed off too if it was my MIL telling me how to look after my baby! Don't get worked up over it tho hun (even though i know it's really hard not to) and i know that i'm not in ur position and i probs don't know what ur going through and it's easy for me to say! (see, i know what you was going to say! lol) but have another word with your partner about him talking to his mum because if he cares about u then he would resolve the situation for yours, his and especially the baby's sake! =) xxxxx good luck xxxxx
