I'm 17 and my little girl will be born in February. I'm a young mummy to be but to be frank I dont care. We are no different from every other mum just because we are a few years younger.

i'm a young mum i'm 17 and due october 11th, my b'days not until 10th december so wnt be 18 for a few months after i'v had her, i don't feel too young to be having a baby though and i don't really think it matters how old you are 40 year olds who are expecting their first baby wud have the same anxieties and kno jus as much as i do at 17 if theyv not had much experience with babies, as long as myself and my 16 year old boyfriend are both working we'l support ourselves and our baby and cope just as well as anyone older than us

I'm 26 and ds is 10mths and i class myself as a young mum as all the mums ive made friends with at groups are 30to40. All my friends from uni think im really young as they dont want kids til in30s, but then tehy're not married so diff prioritied. I'd say in your 20s you're a young mum, anything below you're a teen mum as still a teenager (duh!) and over 30 to me is old. Altho i met up with a group called 'young mums' and they were all around 27-30. Guess that is fairly young these days!
