I've got the britax first class SI as Jack grew out of his baby car seat at 7 months so wasn't old enough to go forward facing. He went rear facing in that till 9 months. It's a rearly good car seat but I think I paid £89.99 for it from mothercare when it was on offer. I had it fitted at mothercare and was advised to get that one as it fit my car well and would keep him rear facing for the correct amount of time.

The britax eclipse or maxi cosi priori or tobi are all very good forward facing car seats.

Check out the britax fit finder to work out if any of their car seats would fit your car correctly.

im either getting a maxi-cosi tobi or a britax safefix as id rather pay more and have the safest carseat than save some money. out of them to it depends on which fits best in our car.
