i sometimes dont find the none natural ones very good either! plus they smell horrid! will try this.

i put it in the bath for my eczema as its an alkalising substance and its good for thrush too!!

im also planning on using it as a natural sink unblocker along side vinegar!!

as for vinegar great fabric conditioner, mirror shiner and it whitens whites and make the nappies smell a bit fresher!

Thanks for that tip. I'll definitely be giving it a try. I hate wearing anti-perspirants but have also found the natural deos to be pricey and not very effective. Especially in the hot weather. x

Babz, do you just sprinkle it on and hoover off, or do you have to wet it or how does it work? DD keeps sicking up and weeing on our carpet and hate using the chemical sprays etc!

Hehe, I read that too but haven't been brave enough to try it in this hot weather but definately will now, also like the idea of the teatree one as it's antibacterial

am so impressed by this i know im so sad but i read in the green parent magazine about using bicarb on a damp flannel and dabbing it on your armpits as a natural deodorant ,so tryed it and it really works and so much better than any of the shop bought natural deodorants (of which ive tryed alot)! i raved on about it so much my dh tryed it and he is also really impressed at how well it works ! so just thought id share with you all   as natural deodorants arnt cheep and in my experience dont always work very well. x
