I think they're brilliant and I'm currently building up a stock to replace the bambino Mios I have been using. You can adjust the absorbancy so they can be very slim for day time but stuffed full for night time. I'm still using the mio nappies to stuff them when the micro fibre inserts are drying. You can use anything including micrfibre washcloths. Not sure what they're like on tiny babies as only started using them when dd was 7 months old. I tried a couple of other pocket nappies but found these the best. I wash at 40 usually with a 60 wash every few days. The outer bits dry so quickly on a airer or the line and I don't tumble them but I think you can.19/7/08 11:27
I've bumped a couple of previous bumgenius threads for you.

Hiya. I haven't used bumgenius nappies, but I do have Wonderoos and Fuzzi Bunz, which are the same idea. The wonderoos are my favourite daytime nappy for ease of use, speed of drying and the fact that they are onesize so baby doesn't outgrow them! The fuzzis I've found to be better at night because the fit is tidier. But at 9 months dd3 is at the point that she can soak through one in an hour and a half! (All my kids have been power pee'ers!) So have started to add a terry nappy to the inserts which gives her a hooooge bum and makes it difficult for her to crawl. Am thinking about putting them to one side for a few months - when she's a bit bigger they shouldn't get in her way as much - and buying some more motherease onesize nappies. I have a few, and a couple of onelifes, and they're much more absorbent but take longer to dry.

I have decided to use Bumgenius on my Baby which is due in November. Could anyone Who uses or has used these nappies tell me how easy and good they are and also how i go about washing them. Thank You all.
