I tend to change my ds when I feed him which is about every 3 hours. I alternate 2 wraps through the day. At night I use a booster in his nappy which is usually on him for about 9 hours!

oo now there's a question...
I don't clock watch on my nappy changes at all - obviously if he's poo'd I change him as soon as I notice but otherwise its a change in the morning when he gets up, then one after nap time and then b4 bed after bathtime and I never have any leakage probs...
As for wraps I try and use them for as many nappy changes as I can b4 putting them in the bucket... I often will rinse one out under the tap if its wet at changing time and airdry it in the bathroom and pop a clean one on then alternate for the nxt nappy change iygwim.

Jack doesn't get changed at night now, he's changed ready for bed at 7.45 and his nappy lasts until he wakes in the morning. He is 19 months old though so he really doesn't need changing in the night unless he wakes up and poos in which case he gets changed a bf and back to sleep. That doesn't happen very often though.
When he was tiny he was changed after every feed, it was only when he started to sleep for long periods of time that we stopped changing him at night. If he wakes we change him because he tends to poo as soon as he wakes up.

at night they go from 7pm-7am without being changed, and they dont get nappy rash...and they pee for england...lol!

what about at night? do you change often at night?

I change Jack usually every 4 hours and use one wrap for the whole day. At night we change him into his night nappy with a tots bots fleece wrap and then that lasts him 11/12 hours.
If he poos i change him straight away as it is the combination of urine and faeces which leads to nappy rash which of course I want to avoid.

also re wraps- I have 4, which means I can have 2 on the go each day- alternate the wraps with each nappy change which allows them to air out each time. At the end of the day these 2 wraps go in the wash and I have 2 fresh ones for the next day

I change LO as soon as it's wet regardless of if its pooey , partly because LO hates being wet and partly because a urine-soaked nappy next to the skin causes nappy rash

Always wanted kooshies but got little lambs at a cheap price off of ebay so used them till i manages to get some kooshies from someone off here. Find them easier as you don't need seperate wraps.

Thanks for that its a great help. I'll try to change every three to four hours, and i'll use the nappy wraps three times in a row and then wash i think.
I use littlelambs at the moment, why did you change to kooshies?

I would say between 3 and 4 hours for wet nappy changes. With regards to wraps, yes you do re-use them throughout the day. I would say 1 wrap for every 3 nappies as a general rule.

I was using little lambs first of all and would change every 3-3.5hrs, i would change the wrap each time but they would get a wipe down and then used at the next nappy change, washed once a week. I now use kooshies all in one and still the same change every 3-3.5hrs have gone 4 before if i've had a hectic day.

Hi,
Does anyone have an opinion on how long to leave my baby in her nappy if she hasn't pooed and its only wee.
Also do you use the wraps more than once as long as it is dry.
thanks

Thanks all,
Sometimes i don't even need to wait 4 hours as she will poo a lot, like 3 in a row. Thats so annoying lol.
