oh just wanted to give abit of adviee re the flushable liners, I used to flush them but they actually clogged my drains and were a bloomin nightmare to sort out, so now I bag and bin them if I do use them but mostly I have switched to using fleecy liners.

There are paper liners, but there are also much softer ones than paper. Try the Popoli liners. Because they are softer, they shouldn't stick as badly. They are slightly more expensive than the budget rolls, but are so much softer, and the also are a bit stronger, so will wash several times if they are only wet, so this makes them a far more economical option.13/9/08 20:03

Kaiya is in little lambs and i just place the liners on the nappy, it sticks her bottom as well more so when she's poo's and it dosen't bother her. I don't think theres a right way or a wrong way to use them just use them how you feel best.

We;ve just taken the plunge and started to use our Lollipop nappies ... when ds poos, it seems to get smeared all over his bits, back and front, rather than be slightly contained as his Pampers did! I put the paper over the nappy and it sticks to him and looks really uncomfortable ... my boyfriend wraps the liner round a booster for every nappy which means it doesn't stick to him but it's really bulky all the time.
How does everyone else do it??!!!! Am I being too sensitive and really ds isn't that bothered about the paper sticking to him or is it far easier than i'm making it??!!!

We've tried a number of ways using the liners and I think the bottom line (no pun intended) is to use them whichever way keeps the poo off the nappies! We also find that it doesn't bother baby if poo sticks to his bum.
we use disana paper liners which are thicker and can also be washed a few times if only weed on
we do also use the fleece liners but mainly on our cotton/hemp nappies which are a little harder
