Have just read and answered another thread on Bambino Mo wraps! I think popper fastening wraps are better, and they never rub. Nature Babies do either fastening, but even the velcro ones are better than BM! Here's the answer I put on the other thread "Bambino Mio wraps are certainly not the best! Nature Babies wraps are excellent, and because they are multi-sized, they are economical, as you don't need to buy so many sizes. They have just brought out a budget one as well, which doesn't have the pretty prints, but if you're after economy without losing quality, they may be the ones to go for"17/9/08 08:26
Hi,
Have just started using these on my 7 month old - converted from disposables. Yest was first day and seemed ok but the fastening at front of wrap seemed to make a red mark on her tummy - do the wraps soften up? Also, it stands away from her tummy when I fasten it but can't get it much closer because of the bulky nappy - am I doing it right?!
When I changed her, the inside of the wrap was wet but it hadn't soaked through the wrap - i just wiped it clean and reused - is this ok or gross??!!
Thanks

this is fine it happens with all nappies otherwise we wouldnt need wraps!!
yes the wraps soften a bit and the red mark doesnt happen everytime!!
i just wipe and resue the rinse out at the end of the day and use another and do same then wash each one every week-10 days in the machine.
i found them stiff and was unsure if i was doing it right but you sound fine and dont listen to pp the wraps are fine as they keep the prefold in position a lot better as their designed specificaly for that nappy!!!
its each to their own at the end of the day!
