I use a dehumidifier at night, one up stairs and one down stairs - I know, not particularly eco-friendly, but I found that during previous winter years I had so much condensation in the house that the walls were going mouldy too!  This helps considerably but does use electricity.   I too am interested in better ways to deal with mould.

    Hi Guys

Does anyone have a more permenant cure for window mould than wiping it off with bleach very week. I have double glazing but it is rubbish. I do open the windows in the ay for ventilation but as we have no heating theplace is freezing at night time! I did put the plastic film on the windows which lestened the problem but as the house is up for sale, I cannot do that again this year - any advice would be appreciated.......

    heres hoping
