Hello Ladies, just thought I would update you.  Went for my dating scan today really anxious but saw the heartbeat and everything looked OK except there is blood on the anterior placenta measuring 60mm x 6mm which they think is from my heavy bleed around 6/7 weeks.  They said there is nothing to worry about and they may still see it at 20 weeks or they may not.

Obviously I am worried about it!  I have a consultant appointment next week (Thursday) so will try and find out about it then.  I don't know there is always something with me!  They did say that it didn't seem to be bothering the baby though.  Had NT scan so should get the results back from that hopefully within a week and take each day from there.  Even though I am very relieved that everthing went well today I am starting to look at the next milestone which will be 14/16 weeks for me when I had a missed miscarriage with my first baby.

Ooh, I'm glad bubs is hanging in there! I too had been thinking what was happening to you and wishing you lots of luck these past few weeks. Hi Christine

I am so touched you have been thinking about me!  Its been a very long 11 weeks but so far bubs is doing OK.  After brown discharge had two days of heavy red bleeding and presumed I had lost the baby - went to GP and asked her to take hcg levels and asked for a scan just to make sure that everything had been "sorted" shall we say.  Had to go to epu on my own as partner working - it was horrible being there again after the miscarriage in December and low and behold they saw a heartbeat and dated me 7w4 days ( 1 week ahead of my dates).  Have 12 week scan booked for Tuesday (from their dating) so hoping that everything is OK.

Been very anxious throughout the last 8 weeks but taking each day at a time.  Please keep your fingers crossed for me that all is well next week and I will keep everyone updated.
