I'm eating lots of fruit too - did with DD and shes a wee fruit monster now haha!

Also eat lots of bad things.......................... I just want to EAT!!!!!!! Bacon roll.......mmmmmm......................

LOL - I can't believe they'd say it to me of all people.  I think on the way to work tomorrow I'm going to get a load of fruit, have a fruit bowl on my desk that's been empty for months!  At least that way I can eat loads without worrying about putting on unnecessary weight and eating lots of rubbish!

Aww, I'm really glad to hear that - my sickness stopped at about 8 weeks thankfully. 

Anyway, for those of you that aren't on DID, just thought I'd also mention that I just had my antenatal appointment today and the midwife checked for the heartbeat.  I'm 16+4 today.  She put the doppler on my tummy and there it was, didn't even need to look for it!  It was very strong and very regular.  She was amazed!  I'm feeling wonderful!  Been told I need to eat more though as I had ketones in my urine - I'll be the size of a house! hehe!!!!

Am feeling fine now ( well - all pgy symptoms so actually feel rotten but I'm happy at that!!!) and no more blood - so good news. Taking one day at a time.

Been having a rough time of it with mega - bleeding I'm afraid. Had an emergency scan and wee bub is still there. Getting scanned again on 3rd so hopingits all still ok in there! Thankfully the bleeding has stopped - it was scarey!

I'm not due until Feb - so ages to go and no scan until week 13 argh!

I've had some spotting so a wee bit worried - but been fine for a couple of days now. Apart from feeling sooooo tired and that is! All very similar to the last bub!!!! Yuk!

Excited though!

Apparently with the down's/amnio It is more likely in older women having their first baby so, i imagine the risk is still very low... It is always a worry. I wont have the test because I wouldnt do anything about it either way. try not to worry

I'm about the same age as you - expecting bub #2 in Feb and feeling really sick at the mo!!!

I think the downs / amnio thing is a concern for all of us - my DD was born when I was 39 so relevant then too. Thankfully my bloods came back as a low risk but who knows if I'll be lucky twice.

Hoping we all are lucky - but all we can do is cross the bridge when we get to it eh?
