    LOL - remember both of those!  And the Double Deckers!!!!

    As for names, we've picked Emily!  If it's a girl we're having Emily Frances and if it's a boy we are having Nathan Luke.  Or at least that's the plan at the moment but there's plenty of time for me to change my mind.....

    Ohh I think it was scooby doo... vaguely remember that!!

    Kerrie keep us posted on the sex of the baby... my DH is convinced we are having a boy, but i'm not sure!!  Your names are lovely by the way....  We're set on Benjamin for a boy but have a few for a girl, Holly, Lilly, Emily and Emma... not sure yet...   Has everyone else thought of names yet?

    Hello!!

    I don't remember the ghost coing out of the clock..but..I DO remember Rentaghost with Mr Claypole and all and the 'magic telly box'!! Funny but when you look back on  a lot of the children's programmes from the 70's they had a very hippy influence and some were VERY psychadelic, especially the Magic Roundabout... I have the Magic Roundabout Movie on video...'Dougal and the Blue Cat...all about a nasty blue cat called Buxton who trys to set up a treacle factory and take over the Magic Garden..now c'mon you have GOT to have been on something to have come up with that idea!!

    Anyway.moving on!.......Melly, my scan is next Wednesday and I am definitely hoping to find out the sex.....I think it's a boy as do my DH, sister and SIL..but my uncle and grandpa reckon it's a girl..well, I guess we all have a 50% chance of being right..unless of course it's a hermaphrodite!!

    We have decided on a boy's name - Zachary James but cannot agree on one for a girl..I wanted Eleanor Grace but DH has said no as we have friends who have a daughter called Ellie.so our shortlist of first names so far is;

    Erin, Fern, Madeleine, Bryher, Briony, Naomi, Chloe or Maya..if it helps our surname is Oakes.....

    Any suggestions?

    Kerrie xx

    Hi Kerrie,

    Yep bags are packed and have been for a couple of weeks as husband is nervous.  Was only in labour for 4 hours with Lauren (who is 8 1/2 years old - not as posting).  Nursery is nearly done; finished off yest.  Just waiting for little one to arrive; don't know what it is as they do not sex where I live unless you want to pay £50 for the privelege!! We thought a surprise would be nicer.

    Take care and nice to hear from you.    Julie

    Hi Shellanne and thanks for your lovely post I must say I am really enjoying chatting to people in this forum..kind of feels like 'home' !

    Nice to know I have some older mums to be to turn to for advice as a nervous first timer

    Its been great reminiscing about old children's tv too.....  did anyone else hide behind the sofa when Doctor Who was on in the 1970s? I was scared stupid by the head of the Daleks...was it Davros or something like that? he was half wizzened old man and half dalek...gave me the heebie jeebies! Also hated Worzel Gummidge when he used to take his head off and put on another one...ooh and the theme tune from Black Beauty used to make me cry..and I bet it still would if I heard it now!!
