Forgot to say, Natalie, thanks for the suggestion about local beauty schools. It was a great idea but the college in my area has already broken up for summer...

I have just come back from the most amazing 'mum-to-be' massage and facial! Have had soothing and gentle massage on my back, my bump and best of all on my poor swollen feet and ankles! Feel fab for the first time in weeks - even when leaving the salon with no make-up!!

It was 70 minutes of absolute indulgence - I even got the beautician to paint my toe nails which I haven't been able to do due to combination of growing bump and raging heartburn!

Have booked another of the same later in the month - can't wait!

check out your local college's beauty school  I had my make up and nails done on my wedding day 4 months ago and i was in there for 90 mins and they only charged me £5 although they did quote £25 but think they did it cheaper cos of wedding day

Do tell them that your pregnant cos that makes a difference to what they can use  oils etc

A really great beauty treatment for mums-to-be? My skin is getting really dry and my bump feels quite tight so I thought I would treat myself to a facial and massage. A pedicure would be great too...
