I had some bleeding during the first 12 weeks of my pg.  usually just after I had been to the loo..  Went to the EPU at 6 weeks for an early scan - just to check it wasn't ectopic.  Had another couple of bleeds between this and 12 weeks - but nothing thereafter - I'm now 28+3.

I had a show when I wiped for about 3 weeks, it was mainly brown but it did have some red in it. A scan at 6 weeks showed it was a blood clot in the uterus. It sorted itself out and dissolved.

I'm now 26 weeks

I agree that it sounds like implantation bleeding.  With this (my second) pregnancy I bled from 6 weeks to 9 weeks and I got checked out at Early Pregnancy Clinic and all was fine and they could find no reason for it, just had to take it easy which is difficult with a toddler running around!  I am now 37+4 and he is growing well!  So try not to worry, am sure all is fine.

I had bright red bleeding (not just spotting) in the first trimester with both my sons and both pregnancies were OK. When I miscarried there were cramps with the bleeding. In my limited experience bleeding is less of an issue than cramps.

I can't say I've experienced the same but didn't want to ignore your post. I'm 27+6 and I know a few of the mums to be in DIO experienced this. Some said it could be an implantation bleed, (especially so soon after a BFP) but generally it seems this kind of bleeding is quite common and unless it's bright red, (fresh), and contains clots there should be no problem. I'm no expert though and maybe a call to your midwife or early pregnancy unit, (if you have one), would help.

hi ladies - ive only just found out im pg did test yesturday and today had a small bleed but best way to describe it is just after i been to the loo and wiped it was a bit of cm and light pink , this happened the next time i went to the loo and ive just been to the ladies again and nothing  this time--- i found something on the net and its said it common in the first timester... just wondering if anyone else is having same ?
