Yes he's my boss, MD actually, and there'sonly me to do his stuff, customers have been telling me how well i look, actually really blooming.  I've been making the odd sarky comment with him in earshot about it making 'people' uncomfortable.

Hi wife popped into the office today, she's so excited for me.  I actually think she's broody which would explain a lot.  I think he's worried in case she wants one!  If she's been cooing at home, he's runnin scared.  Perhaps I could put that to some use?

LOL KnockonWood!  I'm glad it's not just me.  I keep ending up on DIN instead of DID and did go on Older Mums once but fortunately realised before I did anything embarrassing!  At least we can choose between blaming the age or the pregnancy!

As for the comment about the uniform, I'd have been furious, that to me is discrimination!  Hmm, probably not a good idea for me to get started cos I'm in a bad enough mood today as it is!    Keep an eye on it though because if there are lots of comments like that I'd be inclined to be doing something about it - are you in a union?

Jules, is your boss a man? Thank God for the law or they'll get rid of us pregnant working mums.

Exactly!!! It's what I was telling hubby.  How on earth would they know which woman is still capable (or not) of having kids.  So it means they won't hire women full stop.

Makes me wonder whether it's the reason Sir Alan did not hire that lady who came 2nd in the Apprentice

Disgusting, does the man not realise that he carries a lot of weight and expressing opinions like that is so ill innoccously evil.  That means any woman up to retirement age (with the help of fertility treatments) should not be employed due to the off chance they may wish to procreate.

I have just been aked if I can buy some larger clothes for work, as it is making the 'public' unconfortable.  I am only 15+5 and barely showing, but my fitted cotton tees I wear under a suit jacket are getting a little tighter and it's making the boss feel unconfortable - his issue not mine.

Such prejudice!  Perhaps we should all go on baby making strike and see where that get the british economy!

    Rant over.....

If not, then it's my preggie brain

If I did, and it was deleted, I'm sorry if it caused offence.  Not entirely sure why though

PLEASE READ THROUGH BEFORE MAKING UP YOUR MIND!!!!

I was watching The Wright Stuff this morning and the discussions was surrounding the new 1 year maternity pay for mums and how smaller businesses are now reluctant to employ women of child-bearing age.  I was telling hubby that how would the employer know which woman to employ and which not to as older ladies (and I am one) are having babies.  They even quoted Sir Alan Sugar as saying employing child-bearing ladies is dangerous to a business.

Don't see how this will cause offence but sorry if it did or maybe I didn't post it earlier on.
