Never heard of this one before but a friend of mine listed everything she'd tried a week or so ago and she mentioned fresh pineapple.

Good luck. At least you've made it to 38 wks - that's great. I spent the last 2 wks of my 1st pg going to the mat day centre at hospital everyother day to have blood pressure and baby checks. BP had gone over the acceptable limit but all turned out ok and avoided full pre-eclampsyia. Hope all goes well for the rest of pg. x

Sorry for not uodating you sooner    all ok although the hospital want me to back to them on tuesday for another blood pressure check. They put me on a monitor for a 45 mins, bubs took a while to wake but she is fine. The monitor also picked up contractions, not sure if these are braxton hicks or the real thing!!!  I have been (firmly) told to rest and keep my feet up, no shopping, housework etc OH wot a shame lol. I hope everyone is fine.

Been to see my midwife this morning for my 38 week check ( 38 wks today). i have severe swelling in my hands and feet, so she done the normal checks of protein and bp and all clear. She still wasnt happy so phoned the hospital for advice, i have to go to see them at 3pm today. Has anyone else been sent to the hospital for this, cos just wondering what tests they might do and if  to take a bag with me?

    Christine xx
