Hi everyone
well all the cake's gone
- last piece eaten last night - took ages to make and decorate and not long to demolish it - lol. Oooo it's gone so cold here - cars all frozen over this morning - really looked like winter out there. Yesterday they had 2 inches of snow not far from us - can see snow on the hills from back of our house but nothing down by us.Went to work yesterday and there was a huge bag of toys waiting for me on my desk! One of my colleagues had had a clear out and he'd bought in a bin liner full of the things - aagghh - we're running out of room to put everything! Went through the bag last night and there are quite a few nice things in there so am going to have to have a bit of a tidy up of what Thomas has got to fit them in! Made me laugh though as I put the stuff in the boot of the car, was driving home and could hear this peculiar noise - thought there was something wrong with the car only to discover there was a toy giraffe singing all the way home in the back - lol!
Heather - Hug for you about your mom - you must miss her so much - I feel so lucky still having both my parents. They enjoy Thomas so much and love spending time with him. Sometimes I have to prise him off them - lol! Any snow with you? Saw on the forecast that you're supposed to be getting loads - if they've got it right that is - lucky you getting cut off when it snows - do you like that or not? Know what you mean about driving in the stuff - I hate it - my hands are white by the time I get home because I've been clutching the steering wheel so hard - lol! Done any more nagging about Lillie's room - lol??
Sarah - hugs - sounds like you're having a bit of a nightmare at the moment - how is Nelson - must be awful being woken up so often knowing you've got work the day after - I don't know how you do it - I'd be fast asleep in my office I think! Good job there's plenty of coffee on offer. Sounds like you got a better night last night though.
Angela - how did the office move go? Lol at Mattie helping you with the cleaning - start training him now - good idea!! He was so brave at the dentist by the sounds of it - I'm dreading the time when I have to take Thomas - I can't imagine that he'll sit still for one minute! I hate going to the dentist but I do force myself to go religiously. The dentist I go to was NHS for a while but then he changed to private treatment so now it costs a fortune and there are no other NHS dentists around here
. Sounds like you got a better night last night too - there seems to be so many bugs/colds doing the rounds at the moment. Good luck for the weigh in tonight.Linda - you lucky thing having a house in Turkey - sounds lovely - do you get out there often? Hope all ok with you and Seren.
Jo - sounds like you've been having a good time over the last few days. How's Matthews teething going? Sounds like he's suffering a bit.
Hi to Izzy & Paula.

Hello again ladies - couldn't resist a little peek!!
Hi Angela - Had to laugh at you saying Mattie has a sneaky bounce on his zebra LOL !!Hope you don't have to work too late. Sorry to hear about your mum, that's a very difficult situation too! You did exactly the same as me and moved away. I moved away when I was 22 as I couldn't take living with her any longer, so I lived with my aunt and uncle in london and rebuilt my life. Mum made no effort to see any of her grandchildren, we kept having to take Callum and my nephew to see her. She only saw Ewan once. As you say, it is sad, I found it frustrating too! I don't go in with Callum any longer to see the dentist as I cannot bear him telling me off for the state of my son's teeth!! LOL!! I am a big enough scaredy of the dentist - I'd rather have a baby than a filling!! LOL!! Our snow is nowhere as bad as further north - they have giant poles at the side of the main roads so you, or, the emergancy services can identify where you and your abandoned car is!! LOL!!
Hi Sarah - Yeah I will vouch for you, I think we all will !!!!!! Good luck in selling them, they look in fab condition too!!!

Hello again
Got to work late tonight so thought i'd just pop on.
Sarah hope you get your items sold, good for you eh, might put Matties bounce and spin Zebra on there, did it go easily and what did you ask for it, not being nosey, just wondered if it's worth it or if i should take it to local charity shop, mind you he does keep having a sneaky bounce on it still because its downstairs.
Heather, sooo annoying when you lose the post, i know. My workload is easing a bit now, almost finished the budgets then it's just a steady run up to christmas here. Gosh it sounds like you are really put out when we get snow and theres me moaning about driving in a bit of it, hope it keeps away for the minute then, still at least you'll have us for company if you do get cut off, LOL. Yeah i was gutted when the dentist said James had to have a filling, think i might start checking his toothbrush myself, he needs a brace but she said she wouldn't entertain him having one if he can't clean his teeth properly, i felt really told off by her.
I just wanted to give you a (((hug))) for the bit about your mum, i don't have a close relationship with my mum, she's an alcoholic but has been behaving herself for a while now, she still has off times and thats part of the reason i moved away so i know a bit of how you feel, not quite the same but i feel as if she's missed out on her grandchildren, they see her now and again but not on a regular basis, very sad, i think.Anyway must get back to the grind and do a bit more before i go home, Ohh the dreaded weigh in is tonight, hope it goes ok!!!

Hello ladies!!
I did a really long posting yesterday and lost the lot - yet again! It's either that or you all get a posting with massive fonts again!!
Well no snow here either, however, go 100 miles north and they have opened the ski resorts! LOL!! It has been really sunny for a the past 4 days but bitterly cold! We normally get two bad spells, one in november and then again in february, the town even gets cut off, only essential workers can leave, we all also need to dig out of our driveways and leave them at the top of the road!! I don't like driving in the stuff, especially when lorries start jack-kniving all over the motorways, it just gets crazy up here sometimes, and if the snow ploughs and grit lorries make a mistake with diagnisoing the weather -well all hell breaks loose! Ahhh the joys!! I used to love the snow as a child - sliding down the hills on a tea tray!!
Anyway, what's new on here...............
Hi Sarah - At least Nelson had a good sleep last night! Had visions of the coffee maker being continually on the go for you and Angela yesterday or do you have these dreaded vending machines? Lillie woke up for a cuddle at 12.30 then out for the count until 6.30, glad I went to my bed at 9.30. Thank you for your kindness over my mum, we were not that close as mother and daughter but she knew i was there 100% if she ever needed me. She knew she was going to leave us soon and got visibly upset seeing my bump getting bigger, she thought the world of Callum and passed away during an afternoon nap in hospital holding my dad's hand. They remained good friends even after they divorced. It is sad to think that our babies have never been cuddled by our mums, I get peace from knowing that she needed to go to a better place and that she has had one hell of a telling off from her own mum and dad once there!! My mother was as stobborn as they came - but I miss her sometimes! And you have definately hit the nail on the head with my brother - my friends and family have all said it is sheer guilt that is getting to him! Honestly families! - At least we can pick our friends eh?
Hi Angela - glad to hear you had a decent nights sleep too - we must have all needed to be in the land of nod fairly early last night eh? Well done to your Mattie for being good at the dentist, bet he loved getting all these stickers eh?? Yeah Callum got a cold wake up call when he last visited the dentist - a filling too! All very well him having new straight teeth but he needs to keep them clean - I nag him constantly too! My dad was always on about our teeth when we were young - he still has all of his! He used to check our toothbrushes to see if they had been used - my cheeky bother used to just wet his under the tap! hence thats why he has had so much work done on his few remaining teeth!! LOL!! Hope your boss takes this next bit really easy - Mark's dad was trying to do a super hero routine when he was recovering from his prostate op and needed to be told off by his community nurse! How has your workload at work been this week?
Hi Linda - So you have shut down your villa and emptied the pool, that is sad! Makes me feel summer is well and truly gone even in the warmer climes! Hope you and Seren are happy and well?
Hi Jo - So Matthew has been working on his new pearly whites then?? Not causing you too much sleep deprivation then I hope?? Think us girlies on here all love our beds eh? And good for you getting out and about - my highlight is going to be going to yet another bloody candle party!! LOL!! Need to show willing at this one though, its my brothers girlfriend and I really like her!
going to post this now as I dont want to loose it again!

Hi All
Oh yes, very quiet. No snow reports from my bit of the world i'm glad to say. I don't mind the snow, in fact i love playing in it but i hate driving in it so i'm glad there was none, very frosty this morning though, and good news the heating is on in work now so it's warm as toast in my office this morning

Sarah, Mattie had a good night last night and i went to bed at 8.45 and had a great sleep thank god, think i need a detox now though, Lol, glad that Nelson had a good night too, you can only take so much.
How wierd that you rang the dentist yesterday too, my appointment is on Friday and i'm dreading it, i don't know why but i really hate going but i do go every six months.
Good news that your boss is on the mend then, hows being in charge going, no major disasters i hope, for your sake.
Well i'll go and do a bit of work and pop back on in a bit.

Hi all - been quiet on here!
SNOW - we had snow last night, don't usually get any round here until at least January
. Only a bit still left on grass and roofs. I hate snow! But Nelson was right interested when saw the lawn was white this morning.Anyway had a better night last night, hardly a murmur from Nelson, either that or I was so tired I didn't hear him and he wasn't up early either yeah. Still coughing and sniffing but much better.
Hope Mattie's feeling better too Angela.

***>angela - spooky you should be at the dentist this morning, as i phoned mine this morning to make an appointment, put it off a year ago and forgot to make another whoops!!! asked when i should take nelson now he has all his teeth and they don't want to see him until his 2.5/3 years. thank god don't think he would have the patience like mattie at the moment. bought him one of these new electric toothbrushes for kids from boots the other day, it plays jungle book for a minute while they brush, think it's a bit old for him but it's like mummy's and daddies so a bit of a novelty. shame about james having to have a filling, he'll have to learn about brushing the hard way. hope nelson doesn't turn out like me, i have a mouth full plus 2 gold caps, don't put a magnet near me lol! but jasp hasn't any and his the worst for brushing but goes to the dentist religiously every 6 months.
poor mattie suffering all night, sounds how nelson was. at least he was excited about his sticker. can't get nelson into stickers at all, we buy the night garden mag for him (well mainly for the free toy) and he has absolutely no interest in the stickers at all, not even in the colouring actually. been trying to find a potty training star/sticker chart to buy on it's own, to see if he takes an interest with them then. can't find one though.
heard from the md yesterday and was he hoping to be discharged, it was rather a big op he had and they have taken their time re-introducing food, not sure of the details. but dare say once his home and settled, he'll start sending out emails. it's good your boss is confident enough to pop into work, what is it with these men, they need to recover first.
nice of brian to cook you dinner, they do redeem themselves occasionally. only jasp would never cook, you ought to see what we lived on when i came out of hospital after having nelson, think he bought a job lot of microwave meals lol!
well better get back busy busy.

Hi all
Only just got in and caught up as i've taken the boys to the dentist this morning. This was great planning as like you Sarah i had a very broken sleep last night so managed a lie in this morning until 7.15, absolute heaven. Mattie was a lot better with his coughing last night but he kept waking up and crying, not sobbing just like whimpering so just had to hug him then he went back to sleep.
At the dentist i made James go first, he's in disgrace because she said he's not brushing at the back properly and now needs his first filling
so he's on a warning to get them up to scratch before he goes back in a fortnight. Then it was Matties turn, he sat on my knee and put the same glasses on that James had on and must have opened his mouth half a centimetre, she had a look in then put the mirror thingy in and he was okay, i was amazed, thought he'd keep his mouth clamped shut tight but he was fine. She gave him a sticker at the end and he was so proud, he couldn't wait to take his coat off in nursery to show them all his sticker with one of the tubbies on it, awwHi Sarah, well another bad night, i know just how you feel, poor Nelson, he sounds just like Mattie with the snot factory in his head working overtime. How is your boss doing, i think my boss is going to try calling in for a bit on Thursday, he has a catheter on at the minute and he's hoping to have it taken off today, otherwise he has to keep it for the rest of his treatment, another four weeks maybe. Good old Jasp de-icing the car for you, why can't they be so thoughful all the time. I didn't go to the gym last night, rang Bri and said i was coming home as i was having a bad period on top of no sleep, got home and he'd cooked me a lovely roast chicken dinner!!
Hi Jo, Sounds like you've had a few busy days, bet it was nice catching up with all your friends and going for a meal in peace, absolute bliss eh. Well done Matthew on his new tooth, like you said half way there now, Mattie always got such a sore bum when he cut a new tooth too.
Hi Linda, how lovely to have a house in Turkey, my boss went to Ichmelar just before his op a fortnight ago and he said it was lovely and warm, Hope to catch up with you soon and hope Seren is well.
Hi to everyone else, will pop back on later probably.

Hi all
Another tiring night, Nelson woke every hour on the hour practically, until about 3am I think (don't know started to get hazy at that time). He didn't want to go downstairs though, so I managed to re-settle him and go back to bed each time, I think I managed to do it a couple of times with my eyes closed loll! Cleared the spare bed in the middle of the night thinking I would sleep with him in there, then I'd be able to keep him upright, but he had an almighty fit when I took him in there, so that was a waste of time. Thought he'd be ok with it, as we always used to go in there when he was a little baby. Aww where's my baby gone
. So more coffee intravenously please. Still his not too bad during the day, so I've taken him to Leanne's, she has a house full as it's half term. So it will take his mind off having 'man flu' and little Frayer has it too, she the same age, so they can drip snot together, don't envy Leanne today.I'm now in charge, my MD only came out of hospital yesterday, his doing well and Trevor the accountant is on holiday the rest of the week, plus I have a lovely VAT return to get out the way, oh how I wish I was snuggled up in bed, still got blocked sinus' myself too
.Angela - Hows Mattie now, hope you and he had a better night. Poor little Mattie having a bath in the morning, I know Nelson wouldn't like it either, but nothing worse than the smell of sick the next morning. They hate anything outside their routines at this age. Hope your office move went Ok and you feel warmer this morning, although it's bloody cold out there at the moment. Jasp was kind enough to scrape and warm the car up for us before he went this morning, he does have some uses.
Linda - Nice to hear from you again, oh a house in Turkey, you lucky thing. What was the weather like this time of year?
Jo - Sounds like you've been having a nice time with your friends, must sort something out myself. Trouble is Ches who I normally go out with has just has the baby and she's bf, so it's hard for her to get out in the evenings at the moment. Don't know whether she could have a curry either without passing through to baby
, I know someone who ate cherry's while bf and it turned baby's poo red lol! Congrats on Matthew getting more teeth, I found Nelson didn't get bad nappy rash with teething until he'd turned 1 and got his eye teeth, then boy it was bad, open sores the lot. Hope they don't cause too much grief.Heather - Been meaning to say and kept forgetting, which I feel bad over, that I'm sorry about your mum, as I know how it feels losing your mum before lo was born, you keep wondering what they would have made of their new grandchild. I know mum would have loved Nelson, she always wanted boy, it's my one regret her not meeting him, but maybe she's keeping an eye us. Sorry I've now waffled. Anyway big ((hug)) and it doesn't' help your brother playing up, maybe his feeling terribly guilty over his treatment of your mum and maybe he should. Oh and much like Angela, it's as if the clock change hasn't happened with Nelson, up early etc. But trying desperatly to get to take daytime naps (doesn't always happen now a days) so he can stay awake in the evening.
Hi everyone else.
Well better get on, better get my second coffee of the day.

hi everyone
sorry not been on for a few days, my cousin took my laptop away to add some more programmes to it and only got it back tonight. probably got lots to catch up on.
firstly, happy birthday thomas
for yesterday. hope you got lots of good presents and had a fab party
well the weather has been rubbish the last few days and i believe tomorrow could be frosty with sleet & hail (nice!!).
don't know if i mentioned it last week but matthews got his 9th tooth now and been a bit sickly the last few days (and a very red bottom) so looks like number 10 might be on the way - will put the flags out because he'll be half way through LOL.
went out for lunch on thursday will some friends for a belated birthday celebration which was good. my mum and dad had matthew so it was good to eat a meal uninterrupted
then on friday i met my friend from work and her little girl (this is the girl from work who is due her 2nd baby 6 weeks today and her little girl will only be 11 months old). it's always tiring when we meet up because we try and have lunch with two kids who don't have much patience sitting in a wooden highchair in a restaurant - lol. but made up for it in the evening by going out with the ante natal girls to our local for a girly night out and loads of chatting. didn't get in until 12.30am which is soooo unlike me as i love my bed!!!had a fuzzy head on saturday (only because of my ME as i don't drink - and worried all day about the clocks changing and how matthew would cope but he was fantastic and didn't wake on sunday morning until 7am new time, so all in all a busy weekend.
oh my god - just looked at all the posts i've missed and there's squillions !!!!
i'll pop back on tomorrow and catch up as don't want to miss anything and still got some jobs to do tonight before bed.
apologise for the short post - hope everyone is ok and i'll catch up tomorrow

hello there. linda here, yes i am still with you, have been over to turkey to close up our house there for the winter, as we will only be able to go now in feb and swimming pool needed emptying. been back two days and tried to get on here but it would not accept my password even tho kept sending me same password, so had to create a new account. please bear with me as will read posts later when Seren is in bed and try to catch up and familiarise myself with everything going on xx

Just a quickie - Just created a photo folder on Bounty for Sale items thought I'd give the Bounty Folk first choice in the Buy/Sell forum.
Just in case any one's interested thought I'd let you look first, the Bruin Flying Aeroplane and Bouncing Zebra particular favourites.

Hiya me again
Thought i'd pop on as i'm moving out of my office this afternoon, theres no heating on my side of the building and my girls all have a heater in their office so i'm sitting at the supervisors desk this affie while she's off, might stop me falling asleep. Pity they don't have an icon thats blue as thats how cold i feel!!
Sarah, aww poor Nelson poorly as well, why can we not just have a magic wand to make them better, it was awful last night and had to bath him this morning as i could smell it on him
and he screamed the house down, poor luv, had to laugh at your comment on the qwerty on my cheek, it might just happen yet, like you said, keep the coffee coming. Hey just opened a 2nd window and you've posted inbetween, thats good that Jasp has got his appointment through so soon, at least it's on the way to being sorted then, maybe his sister shoved him to the top of the pile. It hurts me to think at the minute too Lol, James occupies Mattie for me some of the time, he is quite good like that and a bit of the time Mattie was cleaning the TV stand, it ended up with more handprints on it than before he started, bless him.Jan, Oh your photos are lovely and Thomas looks so cute and grown up, can't believe you made that cake, clever girl, any left to go with my strong coffee. Chester Zoo went down well then, i will have to make the effort and take Mattie on one of my Fridays off, but then James would sulk, he's still a big baby at heart. So glad all went well on his birthday, (((hug))) for you getting choked up when singing happy birthday, i did too when it was James's and Matties. I messaged Amanda on FB the other day but she's not replied yet, I agree with Sarah, get yourself on there, although these days i don't spend much time on it either.
Heather, Lol at you not benefiting from the extra hour, me neither, it's like it never happened for Mattie, he still woke up at the same time so i was up at 7ish and he was ready to go to bed last night, i mean really flagging by 6.45, but then it all went to pot anyway. Don't know about Mark and Callum catching the cleaning vibes, they never got to Brian and James except for throwing the odd thing in the skip. Get those boys onto that room, or Lillie will be like Mattie and be in your room forever, his bed is still at the bottom of our room until we re-do James's room, hopefully very soon, thankfully our room is very large, it's two knocked into one, did this before Mattie was thought of, big mistake! Aww Mattie loves Mr Tumble too.

Hi - me again
I was so fuzzy this morning I forgot to say Jasp has got his appointment through for his scans etc already. He goes Thursday for an Ultra Sound Scan (now he will know how we felt with a full bladder) and another more intrusive test, (can't remember the name of it) but they put a camera where he would really rather they didn't, if you catch my drift. Said I would go and hold his hand, but insisted he'd be ok, his sister works in the radiography dept at the hospital so she will check on him.
Hi Jan - Glad Thomas' birthday went ok, checked out your pictures, his so cute and looked like he enjoyed himself unwrapping his presents. Nelson not bothered about prezzies at all, even on his 2nd birthday. I am impressed if that was the cake you made, it's great. We have heard from Amanda on Facebook Aaron has now admitted that her uncle tried it on with him too, so has given statements to the police, so now waiting for a court date I think, but been a couple weeks since we've had an update. You must get on Facebook.
Heather - Jasp says exactly the same as your friends partner, but won't let me decorate either, he is extremely fussy and then your not allowed to touch the walls afterwards, poor Nelson is afraid to touch the walls in his bedroom now (joke lol!).
Angela - I was thinking (yes it hurt) how the hell did you managed to clean your house with Mattie underfoot, Nelson would be forever be getting in the way or winning?
Well better get back to my lunch.

Jan - Just had a peek at your piccies - Thomas is beautiful!! Awww Bless!! Sounds like you had a fantastic day! Any cake left?????? I must take Lillie to Edinburgh Zoo soon, I loved the place as a child and Callum now loves it too! Although they don't have any giraffes anymore (boo hoo!), I love the penguin parade - you can see they have a heirarchy when they come out for a walk - the big bold emperor penguins rule the roost! The zoo has a new-ish koala bear enclosure, they look so sweet and all the kids want to cuddle them, the enclosure is kept at a very high temp - would do just nicely on a freezing cold day like today!! I am sure my nagging falls on deaf ears!! LOL!! But I will keep on at Mark. As for my brother, he just keeps saying that he is ok and to leave him alone, silly idiot is going to lose his girlfriend if he is not careful! Anyway glad to hear Thomas enjoyed his 1st birthday, I still have all Callum's cards from his 1st birthday - take them out from time to time and think "where on earth has the time gone?"
xxx
27/10/08 12:10
hello everyone,
thanks for all your birthday wishes. We had a lovely day yesterday - Thomas loved all the attention and he got sooo many presents and cards - he was so worn out by the end of the day though bless him - he fell asleep three pages into his bedtime story last night which is unheard of. I must admit to welling up a bit when we sang happy birthday to him - I don't think anyone noticed though! I've uploaded a few piccies onto here so you can all have a look if you want to. I had a really horrible throat all over the weekend though - don't know if it was the stress of trying to get everything sorted or not but anyway it's a bit better today. Chester Zoo went down well as well - he got so excited when he saw the elephants, sealions and penguins. He wasn't too sure about the lion though - he kept roaring while we were watching him which Thomas wasn't very keen on - can't blame him! One of the lionesses has recently had a cub and we saw that - awwww it was so cute - tiny little bundle of fluff.
Heather - how are things with you're brother?? Sounds like he's got a bit of a drinking prob to me - is he going to get some help or is he one of these that just buries his head in the sand? You're going to have to keep nagging about Lillie's room - nag nag nag - that's how I get things done in this house - lol! Thomas wasn't bad with the hour change at all - he slept until his usual time and had brekkie at the usual time as well which I was very surprised about - felt like having a mini lie in - it was lovely - haven't had one of those in a long time.
Izzy - great to hear from you. Sounds like your busy busy at the moment. You're goddaugther sounds so brave at the funeral - it's so nice to send someone off with a decent funeral even though they are so sad - it's a way of showing how much they were loved and thought of and for everyone to pay their respects. Hope you're enjoying you're day off today! Is this the last week you're on your own at home? How did you get on with the potty training?
Angela - good for you popping on here and forgetting about work for a bit!! Does you good to have a break every now and then from the grind! Poor Mattie being sick last night. I bet you feel worn out today though. Sounds like you had a good old clear up over the weekend - want to come and do ours now - lol??
Sarah - love the new photo - so cute. Glad Boris has gone - lol! Good to hear Leanne's on the mend - these osteopath's seem to work miracles at times. Oooo sleepless night for you too - get that coffee down you!
Hi to Jo, Linda & Paula - has anyone "spoken" to Mandy on FB at all? Haven't heard anything from her for ages on here.
Jan.

Sorry, meant to write Paula,

I got distracted by Lillie again, she started shouting hysterically, as Mr Tumble had just appeared on the telly!! She loves him!!

27/10/08 10:36
Good morning Ladies!!
Did the clocks going back affect any of your LO’s????
I thought I was in for a long lie on sunday morning, even Lillie had a good sleep, so why did I see every single half hour on the clock from 12 to 7am, I just couldn’t sleep! Typical eh? This is my second posting this morning, Lillie switched the base unit off - she keeps her beady eyes on the illuminated light and if we are not quick she pushes it!! LOL!!
Hi Angela - You are right, my daughter is just so full of mischief, she is a little giggler too! You were on a mission at the weekend eh?? Very successful by the sounds of it too! I just can’t get Mark motivated when it comes to the house! Our list is now endless of things to be done! Send some of your cleaning and tidying vibes this way!! That way Mark and Callum might catch them!! LOL!! Awwww poor Mattie, hope he feels better soon! Nothing like being up half the night and then going into work - that will mean a caffiene packed day for you then eh??
Hi Sarah - You guessed right - Lillie’s room has not even been touched, unless you count the ironing board and drier that has now drifted in there! Good idea rearranging the cot to the other side! Ha - we have had 4 rooms done in 10 years and one of these rooms was done twice - Callum’s room - and it was me that did his room too! My best friend partner is a painter and decorator too, and guess what - he wont lift a paintbrush in thier house - he says he sees it all day and is the last thing he wants to do when he gets home! LOL!! I know what you mean about the skirting boards - caught Mark cleaning ONE of the down stairs skirting boards last week, he was using baby wipes - telling me how fab they were! Hi Jan - Hope Thomas had a fab {c) 1st birthday

Hi to Jo, Izzy, Linda and Pauline
xxxx Heather xxxxx

hi everyone
hopefully i'll be able to catch up on everyones news tonight
had to take matthew to the doctors today. he really wasn't himself at my mums yesterday and has had a red bottom for about two days (which is really unlike him
). anyway the doc said that he may have an infection in his sinuses as this could cause the red bottom. he also looked inside his ears and saud they were a bit red. so he's got some antibiotics and should be ok by weekend. he's fine 99% of the day but every now and then he gets really grizzly.
then last night ian went to bed early with stomach ache and feeling sick - so packed him off to the spare room, when i spoke to my mum this morning she had felt the same but had been sick all night!!!!! so i've been madly cleaning our tiolets and making sure ians washing his hands constantly. don't want a sick baby.
had yet another dismissal yesterday - this time a girl who didn't appear to be able to tell the time!!!! so another one bites the dust. going to be getting a name for myself.
well, let me see if i can catch up .... let's see how long it takes, it's 8.56pm now ....
sarah - looooove the new photo. nelson looks absolutely adoreable
his smile made me smile - thank you nelson
really glad the coils working out for you. god i'd love not to have periods. i don't suffer badly but since matthew came along they last about 3 weeks - it's a better excuse that a headache though LOL
hows nelson feeling now??? i know what you mean about poorly children. i actually think going to work is a break sometimes. had to laugh at you suggesting to heather about putting lillies cot next to mark - i had exactly the same thought LOL. hope everything goes ok with jaspers appointment tomorrow - just wanted to add "ouch" to the camera bit - still not as bad as childbirth though!! oh, what are eye teeth?? i'll have to look out for those - i wonder if thats why his bottom is so red at the moment. his teeth are popping up left right and centre at the moment. we'll all vouch for you - all of matthews old toys are in the loft, just in case of a brother or sister but will definately be selling them sometime as they hardly use anything for long so they're in really good condition.
angela - a belated ((hugs)) - hope you're ok and you've kicked brian into touch. men can be really insensitive and REALLY don't understand us. i'm always glad that i've got you guys who'll listen to me rant on - thanks. ((hugs)) about work as well. before i had matthew i could easily work an extra 2 hours each day. since going back my prioritys have changed and all i think about is "right, i'm not being paid for this time now" and that makes me shut my computer off and go home. how's mattie doing?? hope he's feeling better. sounds like they've all been poorly.
jan - glad the party went well - you made me hungry talking about cake and now i've just demolished 5 chocolate digestives lol. how's the diary going?? how did you discover his intolerance?? i'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be ok. matthew is a massive drink sprayer and when he decided to give up the bottle at 11 months his fluid intake dropped dramatically. i've spoken to the HV about it as i worry he doesn't drink enough and they just said that as long as he has wet na
