I'm a first time mum, now 41.  Ben is now 7 months old.  I'm so lucky that I'm finally experiencing motherhood.  I love it - I've finally found something I'm good at!

I agree.... the best thing about it for me is that we are financially stable enough for me to be a full-time mum, which I feel so lucky about and probably couldn't do if we were younger.  Also, we have have some fantastic holdiays pre-baby and travelled plenty so don't feel like we've missed anything.  x

Hi all,  I'm Nell and will be 43 next Friday.  My DS is Ethan who is  nearly 5 months.  He was my little surprise package after starting HRT for the menopause, LOL.  I am so blessed as we didn't think we would ever have the joy of a baby.  Now we are thinking about the possibility of a brother or sister for Ethan..... am I mad?! x
