Hi, I am 40  and had latest addition, ds 6 months ago. I also have twins at 21 and another ds at 19 and my dd who is nearly 20 months.  So far, i have much preferred having my babies older. Felt i was missing out when i had them young. This time i have far more patience! ...and as for the tiredness, well tbh,  you are tired when you are young too. Its part and parcel of being a new mum - regardless of age. Enjoy your baby and ignore  your sister lol!!!  She could only compare if she has also had children when she was young and then older. x

    I have an 4 girls, 18,  16, 11 & 6 weeks & my son is 13. I'm 41 & my partner is 30 ( its his first baby)

My sister had kids in her late 30's & 40's & said she'd tell anyone never to do it, bt so far, I'm loving it, althogh, at the moment, I feel I'm letting my older ones down a bit cos I'm tired & only jst starting to get a bit of a rotine.

I'd love to hear from people who nderstand!! (Sorry theres a letter not working on my key board & I cant seem to ct & paste on here!!)
