Calendar is for my little boy - still getting to the point where he still puts things in his mouth (on occasions).  Help!

Is it for boy or girl?  I have a couple of these calanders too and last year I put in whistles, key rings (for hanging off the school bags), cheap little bracelet, mini pens and a couple of times, when the gift was a little too big I did a little treasure hunt for them with the first clue in the pocket. Hi

I have an Advant Calander with pockets to put little presents in.  Last year I put in little wooden Xmas tree decorations and choccie buttons.  Managed to get little Santa's and Pengiuns from Ikea and other traditional ones.

    Hope that helped.

I have made ds an advent calendar (cross-stitch winnie the pooh) and need ideas for 24 little presents to tie on it (thought of so far, little box of smarties, raisins, minicars etc - that it the kind of size i need) - any other suggestions would be very gratefully received.  Thank you in advance.  Going to post this in a couple of places for maximum feed back.
