Just a quickie, need to go express before I explode . . . . Modom's lump is nothing to worry about hv said. She's 99.99% sure it's hormonal but she said she would tell the doc anyway. Other than that she has put on another 5 oz! She's now 8lb 10oz!! But she has a touch of colic cos she is so bloody lazy and gets wind cos she won't latch on too well. It could be worse though and we've got infacol now so see how that goes. didn't work for Aidan but looing back, I don't think he had colic anyway!! Just the stupid other hv trying to make me paranoid!!

Morning all
Juls, same here with the feeding as and when and the more often than not growth spurt feeding! I'm getting tired now but think it's just cos dp is back at work (which means he does nowt when he comes home but still helps at weekends) and Aidan is playing up every day. Think he would be anyway, nothing to do with Teagan but it's very tiring and I'm on edge all the time in case he hits her harder than he has already or lands on her head!! Hope you're able to rest enough and feel better soon. Can't imagine how you cope with the kids, feeling awful and not want to run(crawl!) away! I was leaving home last night!!!! Teagan seems to like the feeding a lot from teatime til bed, about 11, then wakes about 3ish then 6/7so not too bad. Aidan still up at 5/6 and dp usually gets him up and gives him his milk before going to work so that helps me a lot. They say after 6ish weeks it settles. I think they just make up a number depending how you are coping so you don't give up! I haven't expressed yet, I can't find the time!!
Charlie, that's not long!!! Oh my, are you getting excited again!?! Do swapsies if you like, not meeting up to do it in Ikea though which is a shame cos the food is good in the restaurant (or it used to be)! lol. How are you feeling? Are you shattered or getting there? I know how I felt running after Aidan and I wasn't working, I don't know how you do it!!
Teagan has a malteser size lump in her left "boob". I know they say that they can be swollen cos of hormones etc but this is hard and moves, feels weird. Only noticed it was hard last night, never really touched it before so been worried all night. Hv down tomorrow but I'm calling her today to see what she says. I'll keep you all posted.
Ali, how's mil, how are you "coping" without the brood and dh in the house? Bet you've got the streamers out and the wine open!! lol. How is dh doing with the travelling and the job?

Juls, i worked out i have 7wks after this week
Sounds like bloody ages but i worked out, that after this week and taking off the Feb weekend i have only about 19 working days left!!!!! - that makes me feel slightly better.I have developed a nasty rash sort of thing where boobs meets bump! Its the first time ever. It feels like a burn!!! Put a little cream on it but it is only marginally better. Oh the trials of pregnancy!

Hiya lel,hope your having a better day today,must be something in the air,that`s how I feel today,can`t be bothered with anyone or anything and haven`t even got dressed! I feel crap,think the past few days have taken there toll,and my body feels like it`s on shutdown! So i`m back in my bed and just feeding Sol as and when he wants it,and boy does he want it.The past 2days he`s been constantly feeding,the couple of days before,he didn`t feed more than every 4hrs,it`s still swings and roundabouts here i`m afraid,he does tend to feed from around 9-10 onwards till midnight,then 2ish,then about 5,I gave him an expressed 3oz btl last night from 11-12 and he slept till 5am,that wasn`t bad but probably just a 1 off!
Hope everyone else is good.Was this the start of your countdown today charlie?hOW MANY DAYS HAVE YOU GOT LEFT? oH sorry for shouting,it`s awkward typing lying on your side.I`m off for some paracetamol and a cuppa,do you forget to drink lel?I`m awful for it,no wonder he`s sucking on nowt sometimes,in more ways than one,lol and on that note,i`m off.

Great weight Juls!! Aidan was that weight at 3 weeks, looks like a boy thing with the feeding doesn't it. Has Sol settled down or still feeding all the time? Teagan has decided that when Aidan goes to bed at 6 that is her time to latch on til I go to bed, around 10/11. It's a nightmare trying to eat dinner with one hand!
I'm off again, just wanted to say hi, and hope poor Maya is better soon. I'm having an "off" day so best not start my rant.

hiya girls,i`m back,poor maya`s had the dreaded D,there`s us thinking she`d just got away with being sick,till Sunday and it hit her like a ton of bricks,we`d put the inlaws off till then too as we thought she`d be over it.No chance,they came down and she let rip....In more ways then one!lolDh has ran them home and i`m on my todd with the kids,I had my other dd here before her work,she comes and drops the dog off so she`s not home alone,it distresses her and she was my dog till sol came along so it`s nice to see her for a few hours and not have the walking bit thrown in! Lol I miss her though,she was my companion for 10yrs and helped me build myself back up after many years of being unable to walk further than my own nose.She`s adorable and worships the ground I walk on,I just can`t find the time for her atm so jill has her instead.
Sol`s doing great charlie,he`s piling on the weight,he`s above average for his age on their chart,and that`s him 3weeks early! He`s on course to being well over 6ft when the time comes,not that i`m wishing his life away,i`m enjoying every second of him just now and I know how fast it passes.He was 9.11 and a half yesterday,so doing fine and dandy.
Better shoot again,i`m sure there was something I was going to say but it`s gone now so......typical baby brain!

Charlie, is that the first time you've been to Ikea with her? I'm only asking cos Aidan is like that in Asda in Linwood. He's fine in all the other shops but he hates Asda! Don't know why but it's been since he was born. Which was a pain cos I lived in the houses next to it and it was so easy to go shopping . . .just not with him!!
Know what you mean financially etc about another girl, think that's why I was so intent on a boy, money and I thought it would be a friend for Aidan but, not to be. And, to be honest, now I'm glad. She is a wee doll and I love her to bits. I can see us killing each other when she's about 3 mind you, attitude is pouring out of her already!!
I've got nine nappy boxes (the pampers ones when you get 2 pks in a box) full of boys clothes that will be going to a charity shop so give me a shout and I'll send them to you if you have a boy! lol (PO Box if you like! lmao) Rather they went to someone I knew then just give them away, it's about a grand worth of stuff and some of it I don't think he's even had on!! That makes me sound so bad but it breaks my heart when I see all the stuff up there! Found even more yesterday, how that boy ended up with so much stuff I'll never know!! lmao
Better go, started this post over an hour ago then my neighbour came in so still got nothing done as yet and my belly is rumbling!! Se if I get anything though co sAidan is due a sleep and madam is due to wake! Wish they were in sync, that would be great!!

Definetly - thats it! No more! I dont mind what i have really but do you think i would get away with dressing him in dresses????- no, i didnt think so and from that point of view, i think a girl would be financially better and would be quite nice for Eilidh and also so that dh gets a taste of feeling out numbered after having 3 sons!!!!!
Well i went to Ikea in Braehead and if you were there [ lel i know you dont live far from there!] I was the lady with the baby that screamed and screamed and screamed - OMG you'd honeslty think i had been jabbing her with a pin!!!! She was awful, which is so unlike her! I cant make up my mind if its because she has had a cold and intolerant or its her teeth or its just a bloody bad temper she is developing from .....being picked up...as soon as she starts....to cry!!! [ what were you saying lel???? - a rod for your own back!!!! - well no more!]
Honestly, she is usually so good natured i was so shocked. I was so stressed that when i came home [ empty handed] i felt i had been crying lol!!!!!
Juls, sounds like sol is as solid as Eildih was!!! She just always seems so huge!
Anyway, heres to tomorrow and better days!!! - or maybe not [ work on Wednesday

Oh yes Charlie, I know what you mean by Carpal Tunnel! I still bloody have it!!!!! The heartburn is gone but the spd is hanging around too so no more for me either!! 2 is more than enough, one was a nightmare feeding the other is a blessing. She is getting too used to being soothed though and it's worrying me! She gets picked up really quickly so she doesn't upset Aidan when she cries and she's getting used to it. We knew it would happen but no sure how else to deal with it. Nearly 4 wks into it and the worry has started, definitely NO MORE!! lol. Are you sure that'll be you Charlie? Really no more? I've not asked cos I know how I felt about it all but are you bothered what you have this time round? Would you like a boy again? I don't know what I'd want if I was to do it all again now. I was so sure I didn't want a girl but I've bonded so quickly with her it's shocked me! Now I've got the guilt of feeling as though I didn't want her!! I really should get off my cross, I'm sure someone needs the wood!! pmsl
Juls, why bother!? And you a have Sol to feed, that takes up about 23 hours a day!! lmao. Bet Sol is huge now!? Teagan is a lot bigger now, we've noticed. Her clothes that were too big (tiny baby size!) are fitting now. Another waste of money, a pile of clothes she's never going to wear! She's still tiny and lightweight though. I carried her round Morrisons yeterday. I could NEVER have done that with Aidan, even when he was born I struggled with him, he was solid!!
Better go get some housework done while I can. Hope you all having a good weekend.

helloooo girls,teagan looks well lel,isn`t she tiny! sol is getting big,lol @ growing in2 her face!
i`m feeding,so i`m typing left handed and tiz quite awkward,please excuse any mistakes.i just wanna post cos i won`t get the chance later,have the inlaws coming for the night.i`ve been up before the birds this morning and got their room ready,ironed all my washing,baked a cake and have just to wash my floors,if i don`t get that done-tough s***e,i`ve done enough and`ll probably collapse in a heap after dinner.....
awww poor eilidh charlie,hope she`s on the mend soon,there`s loads of bugs going about egh?maya`s been ok the past couple of days,just slept alot and had hangy eyes,so far so good with us,we`ve been fine.
hope your all having a good weekend whatever your worrying about,me too,i`m guilty of worrying,hence getting up and running about like a headless chicken from before 6am!

Broody!!!!lol!!! - Watch out! Thats what got me here again. I was so so so broody when i had Eildih. I really missed my bump, sad and ironic that you spend most of your pregnancy wishing you had your baby and then when it comes you feel quite sad and really miss being pregnant!! IThat coupled by the fact that my dd is and was such a good baby made me feel i could do it all again. I am going to ignore those pangs next time. 2 is quite enough and as we know, a baby is for life lol!!!!!
All i am going to say to you is CARPAL TUNNEL. I k now you will be put of lel!!!!!

Thanks Charlie. We think she's finally growing into her face now, lol. She's getting bonny but I still think she is the image of my dad and that's weird sometimes (like when bf her!?) She is growing so fast already. I know what you mean. Aidan was always a biggy but even looking back at him he was small for such a short time!! I'm enjoying every minute of her being so tiny. She's getting longer by the minute though
Hope you're not worrying too much. I'm saying nothing cos I worry about all sorts big and small all the time and even if I don't have anything to worry about I worry that I've forgotten something and worry about that! But still, hope it's not affecting you too much.
Not long til you're off again! It's flown in!!! Then it'll be your turn for a wee babby!! I'm a bit broody actually cos I'm loving having Teagan and know it won't be like this for long! I'm sure once we settle into a routine and I get sleep and time to myself again that'll pass! lmao
Juls, how is Hungry Horace (sounds just like Aidan when he was small) amd Maya? Hope things are better. I'm dreading having sick kids! Can't do vomit myself too well! lol

Oh lel, Teagans pictures keep getting cuter. She is just so so so sweet!!!!! Enjoy every minute of her! They grow so quick. Eilidh will be 1year old on the 29th January. I cant believe how the time has grown. She has got my cold and has been really grizzly today. Thank god for Calpol! x

I'd love a playpen girls but no room in here to put it up. Aidan climbs out of things with ease now mind you so not sure it would work anyway! lol
Having a quiet day today. Dp is "working from home" so I'll be down here with the 2 terrors. Aidan is due a sleep soon so get a bit of respite then hv is due about 11 to do the hearing test on Teagan. Hope she passes, Aidan had a fail in one ear and I had to go to the hospital and get it checked even though they said it was probably ok. He was fine right enough but what a hassle!
Well quiet day today, nothing happening here so I'm off for a coffee and some cbeebies.

I agree Juls, a playpen is a godsend. I also have the same type as you. Its hexagonal. They are fab. I got one almost as soon as i found out i was pregnant. I will be using it to keep dd away from bubs when s/he is born!!!!
Oh i am so glad i am off but i feel the time passing so quickly lel!!!! and all good things come to an end!!! Well when i go back only 8 weeks before i finish on mat leave and it works out really at only about 26 days or so cause i am jobshare and feb holidays [ yes i have been counting!] Finish on the 29th Feb!
As for dd - still no more steps like she did on xmas day! still she will walk when she is good ready.
Anyway, thats my son in from work so like a good mum will go and heat up his dinner!!!!!!!! Chat again soon!!! xxxx

Afternoon girls,i`m just on quickly in between puking sessions from miss maya,seems she has a wee sickness bug and i`m up to my eyes in washing,all over me and our bed,then after we get bathed and showered,she does it again,poor soul`s asleep at the minute but hungry horror will be up soon too so i`ll make this a quick one.
Lel you should invest in a playpen,best thing for your aiden when you need to get to the loo or do something else,mines was a life saver and i`m going to invest in another one,we`re using the babydan one as a room divider @ the mo,but a 2nd one is in the pipeline,expensive but well worth the money and they don`t lose their value so you can sell it afterwards and get near enough your money back.Worth a thought anyway.
Ok i`m off again,maybe i`ll get a smoke before my boy wakens for another feed,yeh I know what you mean about the night feeding,they seem to have hungry days and then days where they arent so hungry and don`t feed as often but always throughout the night!lol,the joys of bf!

Can't take him to the loo Juls, the pc chair is in there cos he keeps climbing on it and falling off and hurting himself and I've got my sharps box in there still and if I'm on the loo he'll either be in at that or climbing into the bath!! Dp came home early and I went then. I'll go eventually without worry it's just that he's so boisterous and if he tips Teagan over well . . . . . he's starting to jump on things for fun and don't want her to be one of them!! Teagan has been having a growth spurt the last two days or should I say nights! Starts at 6 for 6 hours, last 2 nights!! Why at night I don't know but it's killing me already, and I'm so sore because of it. Grin and bear it I know . . .. . . the joys of bf!!
Good deal with the gammon. I'm not for cooking like that again for a while! I've been making dinners for us but nothing Nigella ish, as if I do that normally!? lol And dp can't boil water so can't rely on him there without major incident. Glad I'm not the only choccy/cofee fiend out there. One of the girls on the other forum just did her bf course and even she said I'll be having toast and pot noodles for a while! So much for good eating,lmao So don't feel bad when you grab a coffee and a time out biccy, loks like the norm.
Charlie, enjoying the break? Any more steps taken or is Eilidh off and running!!? I turned it to watch that prog last night but it was on the ads so I went surfing the channels and never went back to it. Sounds like a lot of scary freaky people out there?! How would your friends react to that?! I know mine would be in a heap on the floor peeing themselves! Talking of which my 3 friends(that I get together with on a Monday) are all in New York for a week. They left yesterday, swines!! And heaven knows when I'll be back in the Monday group now, in saying that I could just take Teagan wth me and Aidan is in bed anyway. I could never do that with him, he ate all the time, never slept and never sit still for more than 2 mins!! He's not changed actually apart from the eating. He hates to eat now unless it's a real neccessity.

Teagan latest . . . . . she doesn'tlike her moses basket (like her brother didn't either) but I've discovered she'll sleep in it if I put my feather pillow in it first! Oh my girl likes her comfort!! Oh and she's ok but, she set off her sensor alarm the other night!! Got the fright of my life but the noise of it going off jerked her into breathing again!! Aidan done that but it didn't wake him up, we were patting him and shouting his name til he came to . . now that was scary! She better not do that to us, once was enough!!!!!
Beter go have that coffee, eyes are drooping already and dp let me lie in til 8. Still had to feed Teagan but still, that's classed as a long lie!!!

All i can say is OMG - Fake babies, how sad lol. I mean as a collectors item - eh yes, but buying a car seat, prams, going out for walks, buying clothes????????? They are complete loons. Then making one in the image of your grandchild???? FREAK springs to mind. x

I went to my pals in ballantrae today,it`s about 13miles down the coast and the longest i`ve been out the house since I had Sol! It was a nice change and a gorgeous day down here,we saw lots of seals lying on the rocks along the coast,they`re mad,I thought they just sunned themselves but it was just getting dark and there they all were,lying back on the rocks like it was the bahammas! Thick skinned right enough!
Well i`m off to feed my monster,5oz teagan sounds like a dream,sol`s putting on up to 3/4 lb per week! Can you get obese bf babies?pmsl
