Hey Juls, we had to get a new boiler this time last year too. Luckily it never cost anything cos it was replaced by the folk we bought from . . since it leaked all over the floor and kept switching off from the day we moved in!!
Well I've still not had any alcohol!! I think I'll just declare myself tee total and be done with it! Yesterday madam fed from 6.30 til after midnight!! She slept for about half an hour in between all that time, I was done in! Not much better today, living on coffee and chocolate. No us I know but I'm awake. Don't suppose it'll help Teagan sleep mind you, she'll be buzzing!!
Dp back at work today so first day alone for me. So far all ok. Just need the loo and don't want to leave the 2 of them alone. . . Aidan has already stolen back his bouncy chair (he tips it upside down all the time) and he likes it when the moses basket gets pulled over on its side too so suffice to say I'm sitting here with my legs crossed! He's still unsure of her but now, when she cries, he takes my hand and takes me over to her so he knows I can shut her up I guess, lol.
Soooooo, any resolutions broken yet anyone? I stopped making them years ago, couldn't last the first day never mind a year!! One I was considering though was, no more kids!! Thinking I could stick to that one quite easily.
Hope you have all recovered well anyway from the festivities. I'm off for another coffee and some more chocolate. Wish me luck on making it til tea time!

Hippy New Year ladies
All is well here,I managed a glass of champers last night and today have had a baileys,well 1 won`t hurt and I did express a bottle for Sol 1st,lol.
My boiler has gone again,I need to keep resetting it to get hot water and heating on....Aggghhhh,looks like it`s a new one for us.

Juls, know what you mean about never ending feeding!! Aidan was a nightmare feeding, I felt my boobs were out 24/7! I only lasted 6-8wks with him. Teagan is every couple of hours but she only feeds for about 7-10 mins then falls asleep. Not too bad but stil killing me all this broken kip!! When you're next awake during the night, know that I'm awake thinking of you! lol
Ali, can't stand the stuff but if it keeps you going for the bells, well done! I'll be asleep soon without any help and there is no artificial stuff that'll stop me! lol
Charlie, hope you have a good one too. Next year we can all get p*ssed together and post silly things just because we can!!

Not much to report on mil, still the same. I have the dreaded lurgy... but will stay up for the bells fotified by stong single malt!

Hiya ladies,i`ve tried to post several times and lost my posts so.........I went awol too.I just couldn`t be bothered typing it all out again.
Ali hope your mil continues to improve,it must be a worry for the family.
Charlie,did you get lots of bargains @ the sales then? I hate shopping and handbags @ dawn for cut price clothes does nothing for me.My mate went to the next sale at 6am and was still there at 2,she`s nuts...I just gave her a list,lol!!!
Lel,how`s teagan doing?Is she sleeping well @ night,my little horror likes to feed all night long and sleep all day! My eyes are usually hanging outta my head by the time morning comes round.I had a ff made up the other night but by the time i`d had a fag and het it up,the guilt had kicked in,and I just put him onto me!lol I was soooo tired tho,he`s constantly feeding and getting fatter!So far he`s got 2.5 chins.....
We just got our heating fixed again this morning,my boiler blew up last week again,aggggghhhhh
Anyway hope everyone is happy and well,Have a great new year and i`ll catch up soon

hiya all, really cant be bothered with new year but like you Lel I may stay up for the bells.... TRADITION! can be a pain.
Mil has been moved to a side ward so we can visit any time.The docs dont say much and are not being too positive but the family see wee improvements daily. She is no longer on oxygen, she is awake for longer , shows recognition of people, shakes and nods her head and dh has helped her to take 2 sips of water... I know that doesnt sound much but its way more than she was able to do before. So we are all hoping this continues.
All the best for 2008 if I dont get on again ladies , lets hope it only brings good things to us all!

Just a quick post to say hi, got dd on my knee feeding and can't reach the keys without annoying her, that and I still can't feel two of my fingers anyway so typing in nearly impossible!!
Hope you are all well, I'm off to bed soon after I decide whether to bathe dd or just sling her into bed and do it in the morning. I just want to sleep at the mo and she's not that dirty. How dirty does sleepig get you?! lol

Hi all,
Ali, hoping for a speedy recovery for your mil. There's always something at Xmas isn't there? Mind you, that's not really what you expect to go wrong!! Maybe burn the pots or summit but not for your mil to keel over!! Fingers crossed things are better today.
Charlie, first steps on Xmas Day!! That's great!! Aidan didn't bother with his presents. Daddy opened them for him then he played with them but there was no way he was getting himself stressed opening them. He's so lazy that boy!!
Jules, glad your day went well too. Sol and Teagan sound like they had the same sorta day. Wish it had been me! I spent the day waiting for mum and dp to fight. Nothing happened but it was a possibility. Well until me and mum had "words" that is! lol It got sorted but it happened. More is needed to be said but I'll leave it just now.
Just got new year to go and "normality" can step back in . . . hopefully!!
Got Teagan registered today . . . . she's really real now!! pmsl

Hope the wee ones were good on their first christmas! did Santa bring you all something nice then? We had just a family day, but dh's mum was taken ill after dinner at sil, and a stroke is suspected so the celebrations came to an abrupt halt. She is not too great but we are all hoping for a good recovery, and when they finally tell us what is wrong that its not as serious as we are all thinking. That doesnt seem to make much sense but I am sure you will get what I mean.
Going to bed to ready myself for the next crisis!

Hope everyone had a really nice Christmas day. I did!!!!! Eilidh had a lovely time trying to open her parcels lol!!! She had so many toys to look at, she didnt know which way to look. Then we went down to my mums for Xmas dinner. It was really the best christmas i have had in a long time. I think it was more fun cause of Eilidh and her excitement at her new toys!!!! When we were down at my mums she quite literaly stood up on the spot and took her first few steps towards the sofa on her own!!! We were all staring at her in amazement! she hasnt done it since but it was a magical moment!!!! - you know what its like!!!
Anyway, feeling a bit bored and fed up today! Sales probably tomorrow. The internet is so so so so so so slow.

Merry Christmas ladies,hope you and your families have a fantastic day....I am waiting on meals on zimmer frames,lol mum and dad are bringing my dinner down,she made too much as usual and is feeding us,i`m in my jammies and loving every minute of my quiet Christmas,maya`s running about in a fairy outfit,watching dora dvds and the champers is saying-just have 1 julie-go on.....
so i`m off to express myself

Hiya ladies,sorry I've been awol, traumas left and right here. My friend lost her brother and her mum was taken into hospital the day after the funeral, ups and downs with my parents as well, but all is settling down and I am organised for the BIG DAY. Anything we dont have we can do without.
Hope you are all well and looking forward to a lovely christmas with babies and bump! My lot are going mental, now where did I put that medised ?(lol)
Ds 1 has said he would enjoy a glass of wine with his meal and maybe a wee port after, that will be right! All I need to do now is coordinate the cooking... never seem to remember to put things in the oven in the right order! and as we now have 3 main courses, to please everyone no doubt I will drink way too much, due to the stress and be found asleep in the bathroom at around 4pm!

I`ve been pretending to be nigella today and cooked another 2 big gammon joints in coke and honey with brown sugar,i`d done it for new years dinner and it was soooo good,i went back to asda today and got another 2 to put in the freezer,they only cost me 2.50 each aswell and they are YUMMY.
Hope everyone`s ok,charlie,hope your feeling better,when are you back to work?
Ali,hope your mil is making some progress.
