....mmm Lesley, celebrating the big 40 without telling us now!!!!!!

Hi Lynn, you are most welcome on here, although over the last few months, it has been quite quiet. Everyone busy with babies. I am from Glasgow and have 5 children. My twin sons are 21, i have another son at 19, my dd at 19 mnths and my baby son who is only 5 mnths. Yes, i was the crazy one who decided it was a good idea to go back and have more and all with my dh. Scarily we have been together for...well..over 20 years lol. I am 40. I am loving every minute of being a mum but i also work part time 3 days a week. Strangely, not as tiring as it sounds! - i am surprised!

Hi Lynn I'm Lesley, from Glasgow originally but now in Paisley and I'm nearly 40 (few wks don't tell).  I have a ds who just turned 2 in July and a dd who is nearly 9 months (where did they go?!)  I'm a sahm too but some days recently I have wondered if working would be easier!  I'm sure the other girls will be fine with you on here too, the more the merrier, when you have the time!

Back at work again already Carla!?!?!  20 wks old?!?!?!  I know they say time goes quicker as you get older but this is just mad!!  I remember you saying you thought you were pg again and that wasn't that long ago surely!? lol

Glad you are all getting on well.  Yes, Aidan started the terrible twos early too.  They say it's something to do with all the chemicals and additives etc in our surrounding and things these days that kids are "maturing" quicker so everything happens earlier.  No consolation when it last just as long so about 2 years of tantrums instead of 18 months or so, not fair! lmao

Need to go, Aidan has brought out his table and chair, guess it's breakfast time! pmsl

Carla if someone requests a friend thingy just ignore it, I would!!

Glad all is well.  Aidan was 2 today and he has had a runny bum.  Tonight was the first time ever we've had to bring him downstairs to calm him down.  Wee soul was sobbing, had to change a smelly nappy and slather(?) cream all over his bum it was red raw.  Good news is he's been in a big bed since Friday so sitting with him wasn't too awkward.  Poor soul, he wasn't well on his first birthday either but he's usually fine the rest of the year! lol  School sounds like it wont be too bad this year then with a different class, Aidan goes to nursery, I can't wait but at the same time I'm dreading it but I'm sure you remember how it goes, lol.  As for time flying in, yes it does!  Teagan is 7months now and so funny.  She can roll round the living room in 5 secs flat but still cant sit up herself and she's so lazy she won't hold her bottle or cup when drinking.  Why bother when mum can do it!

Was laughing at your picture, we should have got together and swapped bumbos, mine is blue (obviously) lol

Juls, I'll throw something or hug you later, lmao

Hi all, everyone is better thanks!!!!! Eilidhs temp went down and she came out in a rash - its been so long that ive been on though i cant remember if i told you that already lol. The docs said it was the bug coming out?????? Anyway, she is so much better and now her noisy self.

As for sam, he never got it thank god! He is fine too and is getting really big!  Its going in so quick but he is just so much more settled now. He still wakes at 5am or thereabouts  but i just put his dummy in and he usually falls back to sleep. He did go through a growth spurt though and was polishing off 7oz bottles!

As for me, feeling so much better that im getting sleep. Cant believe i will be back at school mid august sob...sob..... I have a better class this year though! so in a way i dont mind and in any case it wont be long until my next maternity leave!!!! - Ha ha only joking!

Anyway, hope  you and your little ones are all good. Rarely go on FB since someone from school tried to become a friend on bebo and i had to close my account down. Now i am too scared to go on anything!

is there asthma in the family juls?  my neighbours youngest is always getting something, ear, throat infection adn he was breastfed for a year!  so much for that theory anyhoo!!  and yes i shall be throwing something presently but only cos you started it!! lol

carla, hope all is better your end and hope b'day dinner went well.  works well if dh doesn't get on with his mil then, built in babysitter, if you're out just invite your mum!!

well my day to day life is now on fb every day so if i miss anything on here you know where to catch up.  in saying that, bugger all happening this end.  aidan was really good and done the performing seal act for the girls from nursery at the home visit so that was good.  other than that, hee haw happening this side of the world.

if i've missed any news/gossip/s***ging off (lol) sorry but in a rush today.  mum is up to sit the kids so we can get stuff up in the loft and she doesn't take to kindly to me sitting on here when i should be making that coffee she asked for an hour ago! pmsl

Hi carla, poor wee soul,I hope she`s feeling much better now,it is a worry when their temp rises and you can`t get it down,my nerves are shattered with mayas going up,not every kid reacts to a temp rise like that tho,we`re just unlucky! There`s alot of viruses on the go just now aswell, I hope it passes quickly and she stays happy.Sol`s on another antibiotic, the doc was reluctant to give him it but he`s wheezing, chesty and needs it,I think he`s going to be athsmatic, that`s the 2nd wheezing, chesty infection he`s had.Another wee soul,we`re doing well egh!!

Better shoot, hope everyone else is well, did you notice we`ve past the 1000 post!

Happy 19th to your son,it is today isn`t it? maybe not,i canny remember now!lol,it`s too late,ni-night.

Oh well juls it must have been my dd turn then. Her temp was really high on Friday evening - up to 39 and then climbed up to 40 +  She had no other symptoms except for being a bit grouchy and had to take her to the emergency doc twice about it. The second time was cause her temp wasnt really going back down even with calpol. Infact, her worst night was Sunday. Poor mite was screaming and couldnt console her. Then as if by magic on Monday pm, her temp just vanished and when she got up this morning still no temp but she had a rash all over. So back down to the docs again to get it checked out. They did the tumbler test and it was fine, it blanched when pressed so not the big M! -- thank god, a parents worst fear. Anyway, he seems to think it was a virus and the spots are just an indication of it coming out the body. She was a bit troubled by them  being a little itchy today but apart from that she is eating, sleeping etc normally. I was so worried and did think of you Juls and your dd having had a fit during her temp rise. Anyway, all is better now. Its my ds 19th tomorrow! Got him a few bits and bobs and money and we are going out for a meal tomorrow night. dh is watching the kids in response to him being asked if he wanted to come he said ....lets see round the dinner table with your mum eh no, i think ill pass [ well that is me translating it politely - no love lost between them]  Anyway, i will chat again soon. Carla x

Morning,i`m up with my chesty wee boy for the 20ith time!He sounds like a wee old man wheezing and coughing away.Maya`s been good for the past week,no temp spikes and no sickness or sore tummies, infact she`s been making up for the lack of food she`s had over the last few weeks and is just eating all day, every day-i`m thinking i should throw her a worming tablet or two...Maybe not,i`ve just remembered about our trip to the hospital after she chewed up the dogs worming tablet before

Hope everyone`s well and kiddies too.I`m off back to bed,all has gone quiet here and i`m hoping maya sleeps another few hours too.See ya.x

Carla, I struggle most days so I can only give you every sypathetic hug I can muster coping with a younger tot than Aidan and a newborn!  Yes if you have a grumpy baby I think your life would be an absolute misery.  My 2 have been great, they are both good natured, settled wee souls.  Well Aidan was til he found the power of tantrums but that's 2 for you!  That was one of the cons when we talked about another.  Grumpy, health of baby, 3 would need to lead to 4, money, space, my sanity, pmsl.

So to answer all the pros and cons and in case you all wonder, dp got the snip last Thurday.  Obviously he won't get the all clear tl Oct so things could still happen but no . . . I want to enjoy the children I have.  I am very sad that I will never be pregnant again or have a "birth" or hold another of our babies but I only ever wanted 2 and I think 3 under 3 would just be too much for me.  I still have really bad days with these 2 another would have me up the Braes under a tree with a bottle of vodka and a weeks supply of food just to get away!!

Juls, I hope Maya had a good night.   I'd be worried sick every time she sneezed, looked pale, didn't eat!  You must be a wreck!?  All that and people owning you! lol.  No seriously, I hope she gets well and the tests tell you something good, or at least give you a better answer than "it's a virus, we can't do anything".

As to deleting Owned (or any application you add), on any of your fb pages you have a list of Applications  on your left hand side.  Under the search box it says Applications and beside it a small "edit".  Click on "edit" and the list of everything you have added will come up.  On the right of this list it says "remove" next to each app, ust click to delete the ones you don't want.  SOme of them make me wonder, wanting details like birthdays and such so I'm kinda wary but stoopid me usually joins it gives the details then deletes it cos it worries me! lol

Carla as you can see I've had a 5am start again myself today, Aidan just up so pc shall have to go into hiding now as he takes over and loves cbeebies on tv AND on the lappy.  Talk about a takeover!!

Hello,is it really that time,i must fall into bed sooooon.I`ve been on fb for ages lel, just never ON it,iykwim, till now,lol my sis is through with her family and last night we were mucking about on myspace,my mum has a profile on there-pmsl and it didn`t have a pic of her so me and my sis uploaded a lovely one of her,we sat giggling away like a pair of schoolies and she`s like,"what are you2 up2,I bet they are putting a pic on of some busty blonde",well that was us in hysterics,if only she knew,we`d put a right hackit one of mother theresa, pmsl then we couldn`t get back into her page cos she wouldn`t tell us her password,so it was on there till she checked it this morning! It fair cheered me up,I think she was amused tho.

Lel how do you delete that owned thingy,i was looking, probably infront of my eyes I know but....ma wee heids up my **** the noo.I don`t like it either and it`s got scary things in the smallprint about changing your cookies or something like that, anyway it screams viruses at me and I`ve had more than enough of them lately of the human kind,I don`t need any on my pc.

Talking about viruses, had the appointment today with maya and it`s nothing the docs haven`t been saying already, they took more blood from her, apparently my docs didn`t send a copy of her results to the hospital so they want to do their own and they want another sample to see if the rota virus has left her system because she was sick at the weekend and she had a bit of a bad night last night, thrashing about and sore tummy, then runs this morning, she only ate cereal and a slice of bread today but was happy enough. She slept for 3hrs at my parents,is asleep now and I`m just hoping she has a good night cos i`m knackered.

Oh aye lel,it`s wednesday noo, have you spoken to your hubby?!

    I`ll catch you all tomorrow,sweetdreams

Goes to bed chanting,no more babies,no more babies,no more babies,no more babies,no more babies......

Just to put you off lel, its fine having another baby if you have an easy baby! It would be a nightmare having a difficult colicky baby and two other wee ones. My ds was far more difficult in comparison to any of my babies esp my dd and he has been hard work having Eilidh to cope with as well. If you are unsure though surely you should be saying something to your dp about the snip???? - that you are unsure its what you want him to do???? I conceived Sam when i was 39 and so its not too late. I would even consider having another and i am 40 lol but not right now and my dh is thinking no more now. Sam has put him off!
